Buying quality usually pays off. We bought a high end dishwasher which we had for years and my SIL bought 3 cheap dishwashers in that same time period, so not only did she spend more than us in the long run, she also had all the hassle of buying, disposal and installation, not to mention the environmental cost. Lovely to have another layer of thought on the frugal life - THANKS SARA and cheers from Oz!

I purchased blouses in 2001 and they still look great. Bought them on sale so saved then and in the long run.

Excellent ideas and practices 😊👍. The solid colored tops and sweaters I bought 20 years ago will last me another 20 years. Although the t-shirts have started to fray (I wear these under sweaters). I'll have to replace some of them. Maybe a trip to a thrift shop or a discounted item store. Good luck to us all ✨😊✨.

I absolutely love your blouse. I shop at Talbots- it’s a clothing store for mature women. The clothes do cost more but are well made, stylish and will last for years.

They invest, spend wisely and plan for the future. Also don’t hesitate living in multiple generational mansions. Divorce is not without prenups , nor do they marry below their status. Thus merging assets. ❤

Quality always pays in the long run , things last decades , I bought expensive knife over 30 years ago , I get them professionally sharpened once a year and they will outlast me , same with my pots and pans .
