I work retail, and probably the worst customer I ever had was one elderly man who got angry that I wrapped his breakable stuff "wrong". He bought a blazer and a few breakbles. After I wrapped the blazer around one breakable, he told me I couldn't wrap "worth sh*t". When my boss intervened, the man called him a "fat as*hole". My boss ordered the man out, and the guy left, after looking me in the eye and calling me a bitch. Karma came back for him, thought: he left his phone at my register and had to face the manager he insulted to get it back.

I just started working at Walmart a month ago and my job is to dispense pickup items to customers in the parking lot. We can't make all drivers happy as we're always processing orders and delivering to other drivers before reaching them so it's understandable when they're tired of waiting. One customer, however, was super pissed off because he was waiting 15 minutes for a cooler and he looked like he was about to burst. Turns out it was his own fault as he didn't check in with the store after parking so nobody knew who he was and what he was waiting for. One of my other coworkers offered to take the cooler to him instead of me and I was genuinely afraid for his safety. I didn't gear the conversation but I caught a glimpse from afar and could tell the guy was berating my coworker over the cooler and the poor guy simply shrugged it off. The guy thankfully left and nothing came of it but according to my coworker, he was trying to tell the guy how to check in with the store for future reference and the guy was having none of it.

The service dog-I didn’t deal with that serious of a scene but I had spent a year training our lab through a therapy program to be able to take him to the veterans nursing home I worked with at the time, because someone else let their untrained dog run loose and threaten our smaller dog, our lab became overprotective anytime around other dogs and no longer able to be used as a therapy dog shortly after certification, it made me so angry because I was bringing happiness and joy to men and women who fought for this country and could no longer have animals since being in a nursing home. ANYONE who disrespects servicemen and women deserves to go viral in a bad way, animal included or not!

As a disabled person, I really wish people would recommend reading the ADA laws to others. Those "pets" are technically tools when out in public. It's the veteran's legal right to have the dog with him for whatever his disability is. In training, the dogs are taught not to react to others and to not bother others. That Karen probably doesn't know that ADA is a thing because disabled people were basically treated like outsiders, and disabled people got fed up with it because we only had a handful of laws being enforced (right to go to public businesses and not get kicked out based on disability, to get jobs, and to go to school) but needs were not being met to make life easier for us to keep up with our peers. There's a lot to the history of ADA laws. One interesting example is the Capitol crawl.

Told him if he had just asked I would have then he proceeded to blame me for similar behavior the day prior, which was impossible because I was off I got Security involved, and when he tried to leave his car on my driveway, I threatened him with having it towed. I kept my cool the whole time but seeing this guy act like a toddler just made me feel bad for the kid he’d be raising.

#5: I had a similar experience, a customer came into the salon and asked for a military style haircut, something I have a very large amount of experience doing, had him sit in my chair and gave him a regulation cut, flattering for his fade shape, he was very pleased and gave a $10 tip on a $10 haircut. An hour later he's back, being dragged in by his girlfriend who went off on me about the ridiculous, horrible haircut, how she's going to sue me, the salon, everybody. Considering how happy he had been when he left, and how obviously chagrined he was acting now not saying a word, I just rolled my eyes gave her the $20 dollars he'd paid me and told them never to come back. The other gals in the salon all said they wouldn't have given the money to them. I figured she was much more upset about the money than her man's haircut.

I will get upset when it's not busy and they get my order wrong but only to just point out it wasn't like my order, even keeping the receipt to show it. Having a “service animal” vest on a dog gives it some legitimacy, but people like to BS so they can have their ill behaved animals in an eating establishment. Again, a pet or a ESA isn’t a service animal. Those people have to stop lying and give some legitimacy back to the folks who have and need service animals.
