How about the racist Karen in Arizona? Tried lying that she was a gas station convenience store manager and wanted a young woman (who she had assumed was a Latina) refused service and kicked out. A guy in the store was filming, and Karen was telling him to quit recording and stay out of it. He refused. Karen told the woman to go back to her country. The woman said she’s not Mexican, but Native American. While most of the altercation was verbal, Karen escalated and grabbed the woman’s arm. Big. Mistake. The woman slapped her across the face. As she hastily left, the guy was calmly telling Karen she got what she deserved as the young woman was acting in self defense. Karen was permanently banned from that company’s every gas station in the state of Arizona. Her husband issued a tearful apology for her actions and blamed the entire fiasco on mental health struggles.

I remember the peanut one, that one was so stupid. Because anyone who has a family or kid with a deadly allergy, you KNOW that its up to you to inform others about the allergy. And that when it comes to restaurants, there's a risk

I agree he is in the wrong. But this is a man who was afraid for the life of one of his children and who lost his temper. Even if he is totaly wrong, it's in no way comparable to the other Karens. It's like comparing to child abuse a mother who sees one of her children crossing the road and who almost gets run over and who out of fear slaps him in the face... It's not the same thing and I think he had no place here.

@@alexc.g8525, rescues and shelters can and do blacklist people, and refuse to let them adopt pets if they’ve been shown to be neglectful or abusive to other animals. In some cases, they will also alert other organizations to be on the lookout as well. I know of one lady who found a young cat in a parking lot where he’d been dumped and took him to a vet. He was injured and sick. A chip revealed the name of the person who owned him and that the chip had been put in by a local rescue. The vet said they couldn’t treat him without her authorization. The chip company said they couldn’t do anything about his guardianship because he was registered to the person who dumped him and he’d have to be held for her. The rescuer asked them to contact the owner again and ask if she’d surrender the little guy and transfer his ownership to her. Owner finally agreed and the chip company put him in his rescuer’s name so that she could get him needed medical care. Owner’s reason was that “he was naughty cat”. He was 4 months old. The rescuer then contacted the organization he was adopted from and told them about his situation. The rescue organization was furious because Dumper had only had him a couple of weeks before she abandoned him in a restaurant parking lot where he was found. They did put Dumper’s name on their black list with her adoption details and she can never get an animal from them again. I don’t know if they alerted other animal organizations about her. As for the “naughty cat”, he’s an absolute love bug and adores his new momma. And he’s not naughty, he’s just still a kitten. He gets plenty of appropriate playtime with appropriate toys and he’s being wonderfully spoiled.

I worked at a grocery store, and the guy was trying to buy alcohol but didn't have his ID, so he threw the can against the register, and it exploded, getting all over me and onto the register. He got away with it because the management sucked, and I quit a month later

Hi. Your normal every day retail employee. I used to deal with Karens on the daily One time this one Karen came up to me in fitting room to kill time before her pedicure at the nail solon just three doors down for my work place. She had just five dresses to try on and she had this nail polish set in he cart. She wanted to take it in the fitting room and I was polite about it. And I am normally a nice person and I get treated the same way. She started out nice, calling me things like "Baby" like how most older women do. Think of her like your high school lunch lady that just loves everyone and makes your day better. She had me count her items and I smiled saying "If you want, I can hold onto the nail polish for you while you try on those dresses" and she said "I don't want you holding onto this." and I gently explained to her "Ma'am, we don't allow any other merchandise in the fitting room. If you don't want me hanging onto it, can we please make sure it's in your cart?" She threw her dresses back in "This is an $80 set from Sephora and you have it for $16.99. I don't want anyone taking it!" I went and explained it "Ma'am, I understand that, but we don't take carts back unless it's been at least 3 hours. I can assure you that I will be right here and no one will take the nail polish" "Shut up! Get me your manager!" I call my boss up and she started yelling at my boss about how rude I was and saying that I was using race. Which I wasn't mind you. I stormed to the break office so I could cry and we can check the audio on the cameras. After my boss kicked her out of the store, she came up to me to see what happened and try and calm me down. we found out that she played the race card to try and get me fired and she got what she deserved. At that store, I had so many karens.

You’re not wrong. I was furious when she didn’t get serious jail time and I’m a white woman too! She was absolutely trying to get him executed by cop. His “self-defense” video should’ve been her ticket to jailhouse orange for at least a few months. I’ve actually looked into some articles on this particular event. The father ordered a smoothie that usually has peanut butter in it and he asked them to not add any but did not state it was for a person with a peanut allergy. The girls made it without peanut butter, but because they were not told about the allergy, they didn’t use separate equipment to prevent cross contamination. People with allergies or those ordering for people with allergies MUST COMMUNICATE plainly and clearly that they have an allergy otherwise those preparing the food will not know they have to use completely separate equipment from what is normally used for this exact reason. You can clean out a mixer, a counter, or cutting board and it will be sanitary to use, but the likelihood you are going to remove every molecule of a reactive ingredient is very slim.
