I remember the 2016 final because I have been raised as a Cleveland fan and I’m a diehard Cleveland fan of all sports. Literally had my family watching the game, I remember everyone losing their minds when LeBron blocked that shot and then when the clock hit zero it went dead silent… Nobody went crazy, we were all silent then the cheering and crying started! I think we woke the whole neighborhood when we started chanting “3 and what?!” This is why when LeBron left for the second time no one was mad, he gave us what he said he would and we’re happy for it.

As a Toronto sports fan (also long-suffering, and clinging to 3 championships in the last 30 years not including MLS...which makes it 4), many of us may have been sad during the "Lebronto" years, but I like to say it toughened us up. No ill will toward the guy from my side at least -- no shame in getting beaten by the best. Repeatedly. Okay....why did I have to include that last word?
