If you don't feel like paying money to get that view from St Paul's, go to the free rooftop terrace of the little shopping centre right next to it. Same view, but for free :-)

yes to this, it's called the Madison Rooftop Bar & Restaurant located in One New Change. It's amazing at sunset time!!! bring a BLANKET or warm coat.

As a former Londonder I would recommend the view from the viewing gallery at the Tate Modern. Like all museums in London it is free and you get an amazing view of the whole of North London (including St. Paul's) from there. Also one of my favourite places to visit are the lanes around the Royal Courts of Justice and Chancery Lane. A very peaceful place with beautiful architecture in the City and you can also see Temple Church which was featured in The Da Vinci Code. Enjoy London! :)

I live in London and I would say that going to the viewing galleries in the Houses of Parliament is a must as well as the natural history museum. Also, take a boat trip to the outskirts of the city, along the Thames to Richmond or Hampton court!

As a Londoner, I love the video! One thing I will say however is yes pubs especially in central London can be very expensive so if you are on a budget go to a Wetherspoons they are dotted everywhere and are very cheap!

Wow! I am a Florida expat living in London and married to a British man. This video is impressive not only for what you know about London but also your humour and video editing skills! I actually live a few stops away from Cockfosters too! Dishoom rocks, and I regularly visit Lamb and Flag. I disagree about London Eye, but I've only been to it with press passes and haven't had to wait in line. I'm curious if you live in London? I also publish videos on my channel about London tips. This video is certainly better than some on KZbin that have ridiculously amounts of hits and have no value!

Good info,.American here, I have been living in London for 10 years now and absolutely love it. Really hilarious at the end "cockfosters" dates from the 1500s. I have come to appreciate the history here. Enjoy making memories, safe travels.

My hotel when I was visiting was along the Picadilly line, and that's probably one of my favourite parts of my trip, haha! Great video, really made excited to go back! :D

I would also recommend the Thames river boat tour. The guide gives you the history of London and why each area has their unique name. Take the boat from the Houses of Parliament to Greenwich and spend the afternoon walking around Greenwich.

Alternative viewing platform to St Paul's cathedral is Westminster Cathedral (not Westminster abbey) near Victoria station. Just 6 pounds entry and no entry fee for the cathedral which isn't that old but is awesome in its own way with fantastic mosaics and one of the world's best choirs if you're into that.

Dude your videos are all so epic and then we get here. You missed some big ones. Touring Buckingham Palace in the Summer when the queen is away is epic, Churchill War rooms are one of the most incredible places on the planet, Westminster Abbey, etc. From 2015 to 2019 you def leveled up so its ok to have an off day. Came a long way from your Darkwing Duck days. Anyway, headed to oahu next month and used your video to help setup our things to do.

If you are in London, get a Merlin Annual Pass. It grants you access to the London Eye, London Dungeon, Shrek's Adventure, SeaLife and Maddame Tussauds. You can also go to Thorpe Park, Legoland Windsor and Chessington World of Adventures with it. It saves time and money. The London Eye even has an Annual Pass entrance.
