The fact that you stated the video at DiFara made me love it immediately. I've known Dom for over 45 years and his pizza is without question the best pizza I've ever had. I go for the sausage, pepper and onion. Add mushrooms to make it a "DiFara Special". Cash only! As for bagels, my place is Ess-a-Bagel on 1st Ave and 20th, but no knock on Absolute. Well done!!

It’s lost on you. Go eat at the Applebees in Time Square or grab a hot dog. These chefs prepare entrees with the highest level ingredients that are local and fresh and you bitch about it. These hipsters bought and refurbished whole neighborhoods and districts and breathed new life into them. No doubt the food scene is good in Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan but would have liked to see him spread it out a little more with something from the Bronx, Harlem, SI and Queens.

As a New Yorker, if Katz’s was your most memorable meal in NYC, I feel bad for you. I really don’t mean that in a nasty way or as a put-down, it’s just that Katz’s is a tourist trap, it’s hasn’t been truly representative of the traditional Jewish deli since at least the 1950s when the area was still heavily Jewish and there’s just so much better (and dare I say, affordable) food in NYC. Come back and eat better

You should do one for Long Island. NYCs best friend. No one does videos like that. We got Long Beach Huntington oyster bay port Jeff and all the other really nice places out east. Just a thought, liked your video 👍🏻

Long Island has a mix of really good restaurants and a lot of places trying to be as good as NYC food and failing.

This is my first time watching one of your videos and it was very well done. Despite the fact that almost all your picks were in Manhattan and I HATE Manhattan and I hate going there, the presentation was very well done and I enjoyed watching it regardless. I live in Queens and we have so many good places to eat here. I always scoff when people talk about how great Manhattan is or how great the food there is. It's overhyped and overpriced.

Angelus13AOV I’ve gotten a lot of comments about Queens. Perhaps I’ll have to do a Queens video at some point too:) Thanks for the comment

And I wonder why I’ve always been a pizza snob. My grandparents house was about 3 blocks down Ave. J from Difara. For me this is the pizza I grew up with as a kid starting at maybe 4-5 years old every spring when we’d come down from Maine to visit. The prices may have risen as the hipsters have made it trendy but it’s still the same pie (the Sicilian was actually my favorite) as it’s always been.

Scott D'Errico Yep. More crowds, but the pizza is still pure magic. Cheers, M

Two of the best slices of pizza you'll ever get. Prince Street Pizza, get the Sicilian slice with pepperoni. Spumoni Garden (L&B) get the Sicilian slice, definitely the two best Sicilian slices and two of the best pizzerias in NYC along with Di-Faras
