Don't rely on luck to get the best conditions and results in your Landscape Photography. Check the weather, use apps to know where the sun and the moon are, check out views, get down low and learn to get up early 😄. Please share your thoughts below! I appreciate all of your feedback.

Great video Matt, if you like the 24-70 2.8, the native S version is the one you would love even more :)

Oh man, I bet! I take it you own one? I’ll slowly update all of my lenses over to the S versions. Lighter and sharper. Soon I hope….soon 🙏🙄

@@MattShannonPhoto i do, with the Z9 as well 😁

@@beckermuns1970 Perfect combo. I am loving my Z9 more and more. The autofocus has been wicked for me. I updated the FW to 3.01 and I noticed a difference right away. Soon I'll upgrade to your level with some sweet S lenses 🙂!

Your pictures are amazing. Great tips as well. Unfornately the story my pictures tell is "Rob's not too good with a camera." You definately a point across that I need to put more effort into my shots. One random tip for long exposure, make sure the clouds are coming toward or going away from you. Or whatever direction to create leading lines.

That is a great tip! Daytime long exposure photography with clouds moving is a lot of fun. The direction of the clouds changes everything, thanks for sharing that and thanks for the compliments to my art! Cheers

I got another tip. Don't put your tripod in the water like in the video if the temperature is below freezing. Unless you have a plan to defrost it. Lol, mines defrosting now.

Lol, yup, great tip. I usually carry a backup if I am close to my vehicle :)

Great info, thank you for breaking down the tips with examples and your thoughts. I can see why you split it into two parts. Will you talk about post processing?
