I have tried that but have been laughed at, told to go away, called names. I can’t even look at people, I always look down until I pass them. This has even happened with doctors, nurses. I can’t walk anymore due to many health issues and I am in a wheelchair. The pain of being rejected is the worst most painful thing. I have no hope anymore. But, Aaron I truly wish I could have one of your hugs...I would cry like a baby, I know that because I am now. I have always put myself out there, took that step, so I don’t understand. I've been beaten, mocked and harassed and I just want to let you know there are some good people out here, all you need to do is open up. Even if you need to risk getting hurt.

I'm going through the same experience right now. It's been a rough time socially for me and I've decided to be more selective of my relationships with people. We deserve to be supported, loved and celebrated as us. If we aren't or we're not receiving the same love we give out- we need to move on. Life is too short not to have quality friends.

@@sevrinaanastasia Exactly! It sounds like many of us are going through this process because as we grow we don't resonate with the same people anymore. I'm still finding some old friends leaving after writing this comment a few years ago. Eventually you'll meet people who appreciate you more but usually you have to let go of the old and be in the in between painful stage for a little while. Hope it goes smoothly for you 🙏

I really needed to hear this right right now. I've been starting over with my friend base and it's been rough and lonely sometimes but I know it's for the better. I've been finding lately that just focusing on spreading love and being me, and less on worrying about what are or aren't doing, has helped me connect with others more. I know it's only a matter of time before I find my own tribe. :)

@@mrbizzy I'm still in the process of finding my tribe or more true friends but I know I will, it's just a matter of time. I've been focused and working on myself and establishing a better balance. I wholeheartedly believe everything will fall into place as it's supposed to, I just have to remind myself sometimes. I've listened to your video a few times now and I'll probably listen to it again soon. It's been one of the most meaningful and helpful videos to me on KZbin so thank you for putting it out there!
