Fair warning for the minoxidil, please be very careful if you have pets. This is very poisonous to cats and even kill them, please if you have animals think about this. Along with that please try this on your wrists before putting it on your face, you could be allergic. a pretty good tip I have is actually from an old thing back in 2017 where women with long hair were trying to pass as men for "guess the gender" challenges basically, if you have longer hair and aren't able to cut it because of parental issues or other reasons, just tie your hair into a preferably lower ponytail, grab a beanie, flip the ponytail over your head so the hair goes over your face, and then put the beanie over it with the ponytail still flipped over. from that point you can then style your hair the way you want it to look. (thicker beanies are also recommended because the bump from the hair tie and gathering of the hair at that point will be very obvious with thinner ones, also make sure to not push the hair too far over the sides of your face as this will cause the hair to fall and it won't work)
@clownbatz2 жыл бұрын

Beanies and sweaters are such life savers. Also, if you have afro hair like me, look into slight undercuts along the sides, they worked wonders in making me look more masc and you won't sweat as much if you like huge over-ear earphones.

If you swim in a gc2b binder make sure it’s a size bigger than you usually wear, because the water makes it stick too your body more so you need it to be a bit bigger! Very important.
@babyclown13712 жыл бұрын
Please help a fellow trans guy! Sorry it's long, but please ty to help! it's about binding and swimming. My first binder was a Underworks binder because the xs is what fits. I just got a gc2b binder that's also an xs because I thought it would be much better to swim in than the underworks binder because the gc2b xs binder is 2-4 inches bigger than the underworks xs (which is why I got the underworks binder to wear not when swimming cuz it's the right size and not a size up). Heres my issue: I tried it on and it fit WONDERFULLY, but I think it's too tight... (I'm talking about the xs gc2b binder I just got to swim in) I took the tag off after I tried it on because I thought it fit! When I took it off 4-5 hours later (my usual time because I can't do more than that) I had red lines from the seams. I can't remember if I had slight chest pain then or not.. OH WAIT part of my back (your back is ribs lol) hurt from the binder. I do know 24 hours later I had minor pain in my chest when I took deep breaths, but idk if it was from the binder for not. Is there a way to stretch the binder? I love how it binds, but I don't know if it's safe. Especially to swim in because it needs to be a size up. Shipping it back and ATTEMPTING to get a size up might not work because my trip is in 2 weeks. If the new binder isn't safe to wear overall then that leaves my underworks binder... I wanted to have 2 binders so one could be for swimming and one could not increase damage or stretching ensues. ANY IDEAS ON WHAT I SHOULD DO ????

i feel u! im afab demiboy but im 100% sure i wouldnt want my parents to know gender comes in many different forms and nobody can dictate whether you are something or the other, its only something you can feel within yourself so anyone who pushes you to doubt yourself is probably wrong!! even if you are 'using a wrong label for yourself' there is nothing wrong with that! it just means you need to live with it and see if it feels right, thats just a part of discovering i have came out to my friend and they were really supportive of me, i experience a lot ot ephoria being called mark by him and referred to as a boy c: i also have came out to my boyfriend and he seems to not care or smth? he doesn't take it very seriously but he wasn't offensive either i don't live in a very safe environment but soon enough i think i can you absolutely don't have to come out if you think you're not ready yet!! id suggest testing if your family is transphobic by like asking lgbt related questions

HOWEVER... it works like a packer! i got mine at wal-mart, its a set that came with the cup AND the athletic underwear (aka compression shorts with a pocket in front) for about 20 dollars. IMPORTANT TIP THOUGH: make sure you get the youth size if you're not like 6'! youth sizes are pretty much the only ones i can use without looking like i'm constantly bricked tf up, and for reference i'm about 5'1 and kinda skinny. they are usually plastic but you can get a foam version, not sure where to get those though. hope this helps someone out there !!!!!

Tip for periods, for those who don't want to stop things entirely (like non-binary people, those who may not have access to birth control like that, or those who may want biological children), get leakproof boxer briefs. I got some from both TomboyX and Aisle, and they're fantastic. No worrying about changing products while out, and they're super comfy because they fit like boxers, but have a thicker middle part. Just rinse them and put them in the washing machine. I love them, especially the Aisle ones, they last all day. They also work for incontinence if anyone has problems with that.

hi, so does anyone know if its respectful and valid for me to identify as both transmasc and agender (im afab) ? i wish i had a masculine body except im terrified of doctors and dont think i could ever medically transition. i like presenting somewhat masculine and feminine but not androgynous in a way (like a feminine boy way) i use they/he pronouns and have very bad chest dysphoria. i dont connect with any genders so thats why i say agender but i also like looking masculine so thats why i say transmasc
@TheosGhost2 жыл бұрын
lots of transmasc people identify with gender or other nonbinary labels, and also plenty of transmascs are able to access medical transition whilst still being feminine, what determines your identity is just whatever label you find suits you not meeting a distinct criteria 👍

@a-bird-lover2 жыл бұрын
ayy same, I'm also agender and trans-masc! "Trans-masc" doesn't mean that you're male or even trying to look more masculine, it really just means that you're trans in a masculine-leaning way! It's a very broad definition, and you can interpret it more physically or emotionally to what you feel! Labels like that one are more up to what the person wants and feels rather than any concrete definition, many people with the same experience will disagree whether they should take on a label or not and both are equally valid as long as they don't tell the other off for how THEY interpreted the label. Idk if that quite makes sense, but anyway don't let arbitrary hurdles set up by random people hold you back, use what labels make you feel comfortable! They're just the words you use to describe yourself at the end of the day

I'm AFAB and grow facial hair naturally (hormone imbalance I guess) ... unfortunately it only grows like on my chin and under my chin ... with a very fine 'mustache' ... I shave it cause I hate it ... but if I could grow it that way I'd probably get a goatee ngl

I feel so called out by the backwards baseball cap rant 💀💀💀

If you're trying to swim in a binder for the first time make sure you also bring an alternative just in case you jump in the pool, swim halfway across, struggle to breathe in a wet binder, and need someone to help you out the pool and back to the changing rooms. GC2B binders included.

Same bestie. I'm genderqueer. 10/10 label, would recommend for questioning people who enjoy having labels. Very pog.

Bro I didn’t realize that they would stretch out and my parents put them in a dryer all the time. Now it makes so much sense to me of why they don’t hide my chest area. Thanks for sharing this, I will get new ones and ask them to NOT machine dry them.

thank you for the progesterone tip ! also i’m pretty sure brands like tomboyx and outplay have compression tops/binders meant for swimming in case you don’t want to wear your standard binder in the water

It is recommended to size up in your binder for swimming 👍😁

Additional tips for the minoxidil part. I have blonde hair as well, beard dye has worked really well for me. I apply BROWN mascara on my beard as well to make it look more full :)

14:32 i personally have tried the traditional side buckle and racer back from GC2B and i like the racer back more…. it minds a lot better.. the only vice is it binds my chesticles buttttt it’s super loose around my torso like a crop top. so kinda just try everything you can always return or exchange binders!
@franklazdans7312 жыл бұрын
I got big tip, every transmasc people hear it but just don't get binders with coils or from amazon it's cheap but the actual consequences from my own experience is mass medical problems it feels like all my bones from my ribcage and my back were all taken out and re-arranged and everyday it's harder to breathe so just consider this 🙏
