Ok, love you, you home style etc..all of the things. However, Arhaus, I wouldn’t call budget, especially not for a sofa. I have a cabinet by them and it was cheaper than the barrel chair that I bought at the same time. Their upholstered items are very pricey in my opinion. CB2 is cheaper and has rounded sofas.

Yes, Arhaus also charges too much on their shipping, IMO. I called and asked for a discount on a sofa I wanted or at least a discount on shipping, but they wouldn't budge. Ended up ordering a white velvet round sofa last night from cb2. It will be here the end of August.

i agree on the oversized round mirror. i bought a 48" one from Amazon too, and placed it in my entry hallway and it completely transformed the space & makes the whole entry look huge now. i'm not sure this is a new trend though, but it's definitely a good one. for only a couple hundred bucks, it made a world of difference.

In my opinion, it is difficult to get high end looking sculpural pieces from mass marketers (Arhaus can be an exception because they do source some nice pieces). Local artists,art shows and sometimes vintage stores provide truly one of a kind pieces that can add a high end look. Also, consider mediums other than just ceramics and pottery. Wood, iron, glass etc can add sculptral beauty.

What is it about a round sofa that makes you think luxury? The fact that it takes up a lot of space, and the price of houses is by the square foot. A round sofa uses more square feet.

Yes. It’s a luxury to have a round sofa. For the very fact you need the proper space for it. That eliminates 90% of the population by that fact alone.

I am not a fan of the rounded sofa for exactly this reason it's literally less efficient than the alternative, and the wealthy buy it because they can afford the encumbrance. That isn't luxury, in my opinion, its tacky. Luxury is supposed to be a greater quality object for a higher price. Making the sofa round didn't improve it, it just made it less practical. The only time I have ever seen a rounded sofa used, and approved of it, was when the living room it was placed in was circular, instead of square. But how common are those?

I do have a rounded tan and brown sofa in am Art Deco room. However, it would be out of place in my other 18th and early 19th century rooms. Curve are introduced in other ways in those rooms. The sofa is curved in other ways. Despite what others say, gold never went away.

Love them all, most diffinately, those sculptural chairs and round and oval tables, as well luxurious velvet couches are always my favorite 😍 but I've also Loved the oval shapes, for instance the inlaid Asian tea tables, as I have loved all these pieces for a very long time and have had them in my home for years❤ Beautiful things are always a pleasure to wake up everyday and admire, as are great works of art & waking up surrounded by luxury is a privilege that most people are feeling wonderful to be able to purchase in life. Love all of them, just as much today as I did in my youth, as I also love fur , timeless paisley just as much, as velvet. Just saying there not new to me, but like all trending objects they do go in and out of fashion but are classically known favorites like Gucchi, and Ralph Lauren for those who've love to curate their homes with the finer things of life.. my favorite things I've stayed with whether others like them or not, for example mixing metals throughout my home with multiple planters. ,for those that are more Novices things like hanging Copper pots and pans or brass on shelves bars shelf edges to keep things in place just scream luxe to me. I will always be in love with beautifully made furniture,art,and sculptures 😍 So to Me if I could still afford to repurchase all my treasures, all at once 😢 what you've showed today would be purchased. Now those chairs around the dining table from Amazon are wonderfully priced and really look marvelously comfortable & it's great to entertain yourself with since being on wheels😂 right Jack..😂 Those I actually would purchase for all the reasons you've mentioned.❤❤

My friend had a curve sofa and she hated it. She put it on Facebook market place and nobody would buy it, she gave it to her brother and his wife.
