@@TheJazzypenn I think people also overlook that there _are_ children out there who lie for attention. They're not bad kids, it's just part of figuring boundaries and cause/effect out. It's healthy to not immediately invest in a story that could ultimately be fabricated, as such, but, I would think that the parent in question at least shouldn't let it SHOW, so the kid doesn't get the impression that they can't rely on them for help in a _genuinely_ dangerous situation.

He followed me around the corner and beeped his horn and gestured me over, which I obviously ignored. My house was just round the corner so I rushed home and kept looking behind me to see if he had still been following me. Luckily the next time he drove past, I watched him from my house window, balling my eyes put down the phone to my at the time boyfriend. Why do some guys [and some girls too actually] think: I was nice and hung out with you, you owe me sex. That's not how that works. there is no social obligation to provide sex to anyone for any reason. People can't be bought with dinner, drinks, or anything else, unless they are selling sex for such. In which case, pay a nice prostitute for sex, stop bothering people who's job isn't sex, for sex because you feel entitled to it. It's not that hard.

I had a weird experience with a white vehicle but it was a sedan, not a van. When I was in high school, I dated another girl, and I kept it secret from my family for fear they'd judge me for keeping a homosexual relationship. So I used to only visit my girlfriend in secret, usually late at night or very early in the morning. Her house was about two miles straight down the same street that I lived on, and if the weather was warm like in the summertime, I would ride my bicycle to go see her. I was doing exactly this one night when I decided to ride through an alleyway to avoid a stretch of the road that was unsurfaced and full of potholes. While in the alley, a car pulled up behind me, so I rode to the side of the alley to let him pass. He did not, and instead followed close behind me, so I took a look back and saw the car was a white four door sedan. I was a little concerned because I'm already a paranoid person and this was on the west side of Chicago where crime is fairly common, so I decided to bike faster, exit the alley, and pull back onto the main street. When I got closer to my girlfriend's house, I noticed the same vehicle, parked on the opposite side of the street beside a gas station, with his lights off but his motor running. I was frightened so I bike as fast as I could up to an arts building called the Flatiron, which is open at all times of the day because it houses studio apartments. I locked my bike up outside the Flatiron and ran inside, went up to the third floor, and peered out a window. The white car came driving down the street and parked in right next to where I'd locked the bicycle. I took a different exit out of the building on the far side, and walked the rest of the way to my girlfriend's house. When I told her what happened, she was upset with me for having not dialed 911 because the white car might have attacked someone else.
