Spec Ops The Line has the infamous level where it tricks you into firing white phosphorus at a bunch of civilians. The level’s even designed to ensure you absolutely HAVE to fire at the exact spot they’re hiding. Then you spend the rest of the game being shamed for it.

What's worse about Sif is if you do the dlc first. Then when Sif sees you they recognize you as the person who saved them, but you have to fight them anyway

If you do a commenter's edition, you can mention Danyla from the Dragon Age Origins side quest "Lost to the Curse". A man named Athras wants you to find his wife, but when you do, she's a werewolf! She insists that you kill her. You can do so, or refuse, in which case she'll attack and then force you to kill her. Now technically, there is a way to avoid this by just never running into her and curing the curse. Then you can go back to Athras and tell him you never found her, at which point, he'll say he'll go looking for her himself. However, even this has no clarity, and in fact in Dragon Age 2, if you import a save where you cure the curse, you run into a Dalish woman who accuses a man of killing her mother. Clarity is again scarce on why she makes this claim, but still, in retrospect, there may indeed by no way at all to NOT cause Danyla's death.

The Sif fight is worse if you complete the DLC beforehand, she recognizes your character, presses her head against you, then picks up the sword to fight you

Astrid doesn't belong on this list with the likes of characters like Sif. The only thing I regretted about killing her is that she died in one hit. What an awful follow up to the DB of Oblivion.

Another one is Adewale from Assassin's Creed. In Assassin's Creed Rogue, your character is forced to kill Adewale. Its kinda sad for the people who played Black Flag and Freedom Cry.

I like to think that you didn't actually kill The Boss, but that you had to in this fake memory-like if you kill off other characters and create a temporal rift or what have you. So maybe in reality, you could let her live and run.

It was said as a joke but the truth is you really don't have to kill or hurt any NPCs in any game. I simply refuse to play games that require hurting dogs or doing other things that would need to make me go to therapy. It's fine! Lots of games out there - the only thing you've missed out on is feeling bad. You have the choice!

Shriek from Ori and the Will of the Wisps. She did a lot of harm but her backstory was tragic. I truly felt bad when I finished the game.

I didn't hesitate to shoot Face McShooty. In my first playthrough of Skyrim, I - the chosen one - refused to be part of the thieves and assassins guild, so when Astrid abducted me that was the end of her; and when I eventually was a part of her organization once again I didn't hesitate to off her after she betrayed me/us.

Who actually felt bad for Astrid? She ran the dark brotherhood without serving the Night Mother. Then she shows herself to be incompetent and betrayed you leading to the deaths of the majority of the group and herself.

@@Snipergoat1 well, as long as people want to be around me, I wouldn't mind becoming a tree person. Heck, I wouldn't need to eat as the dirt and sun would be my food and the water would be absorbed through my roots and maybe bark. If something even more interesting happens, like the mutation spawning Sprigans from the Elder Scrolls franchise, then I would reconsider as I would have tree people who would defend me and animals, but if I tried providing the fruits that may grow on me to humans, the Sprigans would be ticked at the humans. It's why when I die, I want to be buried with a fruit tree inside me so my body can continue to produce for people long after my soul has left this world. If I was in the same boat as Harold, I wouldn't mind it as much as I see it as a way to keep knowledge preserved and fix the world one tree at a time. The unfortunate thing is if any pyromaniac decides to set me ablaze, it would be even more painful than if I had normal skin and I could not extinguish myself. So all the info from the past I know will forever be preserved as long as I am not killed, I can fix the radioactive hellscape with the trees that spawn around me, and I would always meet new people. A win for me and those with my outlook.

You're to stop ending every video with all that positive drivel you use to hide your true nature, immediately. we need our viewers to watch the ads at the end of our videos so we're ending them as suddenly as possible. i hope no one ever realizes that we've been recycling our content by simply changing the order of the entries or replacing an entry or 2 with new releases. so nobody is gonna read this so i'll share it anyway when i got my wil in like 2005, my dog always watched me play it. one day i went to subway (this was back when they had the 5 dollar footlongs, remember that?). Anyways, I was at wallmart when I went to the wii aisle, only to notice that they had only one game. they had hundreds of copies of this game, but this was the only game they had. It was like 5 dollars. But the 5 dollars was for the subway, remember? So I spend my subway money on the game. The game was weird, it had a mostly blank cover with just like a picture of a wii remote on it, and it was called something vague like "game party 90". I didnt think they'd make 90 of them. SO i went home and my dog ate my sandwich (stupid dog). I loved watching my dog always play the wii. unfortunately my dog died last november of getting shot by the wii blaster like if you agree thank you for reading

I let the Sasquatch live. I figured he was horribly depressed because his traumatic loss was so sudden. Who knows, maybe after a time he would have found new purpose in life and just enjoy being among with the bears and the birds and the bunnies ❤
