I remember playing that South Park game when I was younger and being afraid to move in the very beginning because of the turkeys. Then I was stuck on one level when you have to shoot a large worm-like monster coming out of a church, i think, and kept on dying

Not a fan of you using so much spoiler-rich footage of Deadly Premonition, though. That game was a lot of fun and no matter how old, it's a shame if someone new to the game feels like the game is ruined, even slightly, because they recognize the "demon" in your footage. Small complaint, I guess, but it just seems stupid.

My first game was a "shit game" in the style of a side on space shooter. You played as the head of Adam Sandler floating through space firing tins of beans out of his mouth at an army of Barbra Streisand's. You had to dodge George Foreman grills and portable DVD players.

LSD Dream Emulator looks like an absolutely amazing game, I'd love to see it remade for today's computers and gaming systems, that could be an unbelievably brilliant game if done correctly, the idea of dreams/psychedelic experiences could provide next level worlds and visuals, if a great story was behind it, it could be something amazing yet something almost completely unique too!

TimeSplitters didn't really do famous battles or bringing futuristic weapons to past environments. Everything was of-the-period. If you found yourself in prohibition-era Chicago, you'd fight with sawed-offs and Tommy guns. If you found yourself in modern-day Siberia you'd fight with top-of-the-line sniper rifles, 12-Gauges and flamethrowers. And if you went to the distant future, you'd fight with handguns that shoot bouncy lasers all over the place. Ah, such chaotic fun, even if the Scifi Handgun wasn't the most effective weapon. But hey, at least it's not the utterly atrocious Laser Gun. That thing is about as clunky to fire as Star Fox Zero is to control

Was literally about to say the same thing. It's true that it's graphics are shit and the story is hard to get through if you don't want to do it. But I'd say it's more than worth it if you can. Deadly Prem is one of my favorite games now. I also don't think it needed to be right behind Big rigs :p. They had interesting ideas for terrible games then just went for the obvious "gimme"
@ossiexx7 жыл бұрын
Yang Shen exactly, one of my all time favorites, the story is so so so good, great soundtrack and relaxing locations, and yeah, it doesnt deserve a second place in this list, i mean, its even considered a game as an art form!

Here's a fun fact about Two Worlds: once you get past the Obligatory Starting Village, you can completely ignore the main plotline. There's a guy waiting for you just outside of town, and as long as you don't get too close to him the story doesn't advance. You're free to explore the entire game, doing nothing but side quests.
@MahDryBread7 жыл бұрын
God lord, did you have to spoil Deadly Premonition so hard? The game's plot is genuinely enjoyable. You didn't spoil the rest of the games. Deadly Premonition is a murder mystery and you flat out showed all of the stages of the final boss fight.

Not a speck of light is showing so the danger must be growing, Are the fires of hell A-glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? YES! The danger must be growing, for the rowers keep on rowing, And they're certainly not showing, any signs that they are slowing!

The thing about Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015: Do You Still Shower With Your Dad? is that it was never built to be a cynical "Simulator" game that so many "developers" shovel onto Steam like so much triceratops cack. It was built from the ground up to be a total mickey-take on the entire premise, and didn't build itself up as a one-note joke. You had flying bathtub segments, moments with dad ninjas, and so much else besides. Basically, it's very easily comparable with The Stanley Parable

Two Worlds is actually really really really fun. If you have the Xbox360 version, be sure to turn off grass and shadows if you want a reasonable frame rate. The game itself isn't bad, but there are some features that make it better than average. The dodge button makes you rapidly jump backwards. It makes it possible to fight enemies that are well beyond your level. The customizable weapons are essentially infinitely stackable. The game has a spell that allows you to resurrect any character in the entire game. A whole village gets destroyed? Cast the spell and everyone comes back friendly. 50 cent: BotS is just a legit good game

One of my favourite "bad games that are so bad they're awesome" has to be Conker's bad fur day, even though I don't consider it bad, more like just so weird it's actually good, the game is just so weird and bizarre and it controls really awkwardly but once you get used to the controls the game is just I don't know very, very weird, I don't ever think that they'll make another game like that again.

Two Worlds 2 has been long out. I tried to do a Let's Play but even on the easiest difficulty, the only strategy is to hit'n'run, or be an archer, which also doesn't work out too well if you miss ever.
@brynngoodrum27577 жыл бұрын
I actually played Two Worlds back when it was still new, and let me tell you it was anything but pleasant. Where the game was enjoyable at first to explore around and such, it was shoddy but charming. After a month or so post-launch, people started making these things called "Unicorn Potions" which were made from 10 Unicorn Horns, which were extremely rare (key word, 'were'). Using just one would permanently boost your character's stats to be several levels above what it was. People used a duplication glitch on these Unicorn Horns/Potions to become so goddamned powerful they were literally untouchable. Not to mention there would be scams left and right to trick those whom lusted for such power out of their rarest items, so of course people got screwed over, but that's the price of reckless greed. Greed literally ruled the game, there wasn't even any reason to quest when you could just make yourself out like a clown to impress a glitcher to be rewarded with Unicorn Potions, or otherwise had friends that did. But it wasn't just an Oblivion clone by environment, even the 'saves' took a little snapshot of your game state like Elder Scrolls did. ....And somehow they managed to make a sequel to the game, Two Worlds 2. No idea how good or bad it turned out though.

I realize that the game in question came out recently, but Maize. The game is on Steam and the plot is basically this: a missinnterpreted government memo leads to the creation of sentient corn. Believe it or not, the game gets even more insane from there, aside from the utterly insane plot it's a fairly easy adventure game that never takes itself seriously.

Undertale took loads of things that had already been done but not well known as wasn't in the mainstream and shoved them together, they are the Apple of the game scene as fans just act like its the best thing ever. A lot of the obessive fans were in denial about a lot of things, I mean its not a bad game but its not the best thing ever.
