being in australia, a LOT of these never made it here and never will. I got a loose complete triclops in a lot of 15 origins, which got me a panthor and Ninjor to add to my collection

Hey Mike, aren't the modern constructed better? I've heard once the rubber bands on the vintage go they are a pain to replace.

Yes the new ones are made better. Hebro on youtube heats everything up and seems to replace the bands easy but I never tried

There are two different Stratos, there's the one with the Red Wings and the blue backpack and the one with the blue wings and the red backpack I was hoping they were going to release the Red Wings for Origins but they decided not to which is why I passed on Stratos. As a kid I had the Vintage one with the Red Wings and the blue backpack. I think they re-released him again vintage with blue wings and a red backpack, but I'm not 100% sure on that. and then when Classics came out they kept the Red Wings and blue backpack, and they changed it for Origins

It wouldve been nice if Mattel had released box sets of skeletor's main minions, beastman, trapjaw, triklops, merman, and evil lyn, and then a box set of He-mans allies, man at arms, teela, man e faces, stratos, and ram man.

Hey Tydirium.... What's your opinion on whether or not origins is gonna end up being in demand years down the line? Been wondering about this. Aside from Eternia and a couple harder to find figs, I feel like this line is gonna go the way of Hasbro Star Wars 1995-2000s

There will be a few overproduced but in the long run most will be worth retail or more. Look at Indiana jones from 2008 those were in low demand, clearanced and now sought after. The MOTU excitement is dying down and less figures get produced toward the end of the line so those are usually the hardest to find

Yes Origins get more expensive and the MSRP is higher than many vintage verions

I'm lucky I have all of these Origins figures and got them for an affordable retail price. Also yes I do feel Origins is superior to Vintage. I am also very lucky I have a drafting table to put Eternia on when it comes in. I'm also going to put Grayskull and Snake Mountain on the table with it making the ultimate Origins display I can't wait!

Man, I feel guilty and kinda bad for Masters. As a child, it was tops along with Joe, transformers and Marvel/dc toys but now I'm older and collecting, I've excluded any Masters stuff. Just don't feel it. Idk, I stubbed my toe.

Wave 3 came out everywhere in Canada (Roboto She RA Zodac and Mer man) so i seen them on discount here for 7 Canadian. I managed to get all the other ones on the list for not too bad a price except Tri Klops..I didnt see him at retail and I could of got him online for more price and shipping but like you I thought he would be a dime a dozen so waited and i still dont have him cause of the crazy price SIGH

For origins I want: -Screech (bad guy bird) -movie figures (why not, they're doing it in masterverse... do Dolph, golden skeletor) -disco skeletor -granamyr -some rando village people (or should I say, town folk to not confuse with copyright infringement). Why not have some of the weakling (aka normal) looking humanoids from eternia as I'm sure others would like to sprinkle in some normal people being helped into their display(s). -Attak Trak (not the red single rider, but the blue, box-like van from the toon... and hey, he had a voice so i say it was a 'character'). -Battle ram (okay, this is a clear cut vehicle, but make it so it can also be compatible with the skysleds previously released)

I forgot to also include Marlena, in both her green gown and astronaut suit. I recall getting some of the walgreens/5below orange/white hexgear sets to accompany the megaconstrux I had for motu (astronauts were like the ones that crash landed on eternia in that episode... and one of its space ships were 'close enough')

Vintage Stratos was released in two ways. Red wings with blue backpack. Blue wings with red backpack.
