Great video. I recently had to think of a watch to get my 10-year old son, and needed something inexpensive and smaller in diameter. I went with a Timex, but I found that almost no one has videos/recommendations for this situation. You could do a great video on an inexpensive "first" watch for kids.

My theory: buy a cheap $20-$30 automatic watch off eBay. When it stops working in 2-3 years take it apart and try to fix it.(have actually been able to fix the movement on one and other problems multiple times.) If I can't fix it, I replace the watch for another $20-$30. In the end I only pay about $10 per watch per year and never need to worry about ruining an expensive watch.

Hi Garrett, potentially. I will say the contrast stitch padded strap and the hand-painted cognac fit well on a small wrist out the box. All the others, especially the rustic brown fits well too if you are not against punching additional holes in your strap if needed. All of them don't have an excessive tail that shows out the bottom either.

Nice selection save for that faux-vintage chronograph. Not an honest homage to whatever IMO. The Timex is an interesting (and well chosen) model with the muted blue, gunmetal, and brown. Not quite sure about its size or use of a diving-style bezel however. And I'm guessing the bezel does not turn? The "World Time" (um, there are zillions of Casio "World Time" models ... ) is the AE1200WHD-1A or AE1200WH-1A in all-black. Both are ALL plastic, not "stainless steel" per se, even if the AE1200WHD-1A does come with a SS bracelet. That Braun tho ... You get a no-date (yay!), Bauhaus-like dial from the country that Bauhaus is from (yay!), their iconic yellow seconds hand, leather strap without obvious stitching, "lugless" brushed or gunmetal? case, signed casebook and buckle ... there's a LOT going on with this minimalist design. They also have a white dial/brown strap version, a smaller white dial women's, and a "Bauhaus chrono" for just $5 over the $100 limit here.
