My daughter lives in Clearwater. My favorite time to come out is July cause there isn’t as many tourists and love the thunderstorms. We have been out in December and it’s just too busy and surprisingly cold for this California girl.

No drought since I moved here in 2021 in NE especially this year with all this rain. And since I know how important our tourist season is to our economy- a few of our neighbors have businesses and count on tourists - I take my time .. sometimes irritating trying to get an appointment for either myself or my pets cause wait time is increased but other than that I go With the flow plus longer you are here you learn to take different routes or travel Different times! We still love living here ❤

You can go on capecoral.net once in a while and read the notice for yourself. There were notices since November. It was posted for weeks in the site. That is why water restrictions are put into play EVERY YEAR! A Google search of water restrictions will further back up my statements. Thank you for commenting.

@@livinginfortmyersflorida I read the notices and if it is truly the case then they need to stop building homes and apartments because they are going to create a nightmare. Not only with lack of water but our homes will be worth nothing! We have had a tremendous amount of water.., no way should we be in trouble I love living here but this is very concerning. We put a new pump in when we moved here and drilled down another 20 ft as recommended to avoid an issue but apparently that doesn’t matter either. I don’t get why they keep building?
