Kay, this is the most inspiring video I've watched of yours. This is your gift. I'm 62, doing my very best to age gracefully, naturally. In 2015 I lost my 25 year old son in an accident, but just a few days afterwards I was able to meet the driver who hit him and God allowed me to hug and forgive the young man. It was such a powerful moment in my life. I love how you outlined all of these 10 suggestions and I plan on writing each scripture down and working on them this year. Please continue making amazing, inspirational videos such as this one. Some of us are not as concerned with fashion, etc, but try to focus on our inner strength and beauty. You are a beautiful and wise woman! God bless you!!

Hi Kay. I had to send you a note to tell you something funny. I discovered your channel a few months back. I’m 74 and decided to try the city lips you were talking about. I don’t mind my wrinkles but I don’t like the fine lines around my mouth. So I got the clear lip plumper and the city lips oil to put on at bedtime. Now my lips have never been full, they are quite thin, and I don’t expect any product to make them get fuller. Here’s the thing, since using the city lips I have noticed the lines around my mouth are less noticeable. Which is wonderful….the funny part is, my husband always kisses me goodnight 8 times. Seriously! So the lip oil gets on his lips, which he doesn’t mind, he always uses his “lip balm”….chap stick…so after he kisses me his 8 times, I get out of bed and put on a little more city lip oil and come back to bed….where he promptly gives me another kiss goodnight. Needless to say his lips are nice and smooth and moist too. I can’t see his upper lip though because he has a moustache.😂 Just had to tell you this funny story. Love your videos! ❤

Like you I am a February 1964 baby getting ready to turn 60 in a few days. I am also an Ohioan and your sister in Christ. I appreciated your segment on how at this age our bodies are showing their wear. We have traveled a long way through this life, and some of the roads were not paved. It made us who we are. I also appreciated your segment about wisdom. I have discovered in the last year or so that the generation below me has begun to look to and listen to me for wisdom. I never thought I would be at the place where I feel I have wisdom to share and pass along to those who have not yet traveled this far in life. It’s actually humbling. Best to you and happy 60th birthday this month to both of us!

Thanks, Kay! We get so caught up these days with beauty products, clothing, and just overall how we look, that we forget about being beautiful on the inside as well. It’s a wonderful reminder that we need to work on both. I also love your references to the scriptures. The Bible is the source of all knowledge that we need to live by. And by the way, you look beautiful in that color! Keep doing what you’re doing, it helps so many.

Kay - Great ideas - ALL of them! Your hair is beautiful - when I decided to go gray - I got highlights but they were platinum and it made the transition SO easy! The new growth just blended in seamlessly. The biggest change in going gray were the changes I had to make in my wardrobe colors and makeup (so many colors I wore before now made me look "washed out"). Thanks for all you do and God Bless You!

Your message really hit home today. My husband has chemical damage to his lungs and we are waiting this week to find out if he qualifies for the transplant list. I appreciate all you do and especially this video - this Wednesday we lost a relative we have been caring for over the past few months - in light of this loss I worried I would think this video would seem shallow to me at this time when I saw the title but also felt the need for diversion after what I had been going through, so I was so glad to see you touch on the serious issues we live through as we age and the experience we gain, plus the wisdom of the Bible in our lives as we get older.

Dear Kay, so many of your suggestions stike me and I have to admit that since turning 50 really notice a drop in energy level- and I am putting it mildly...But, you are so right- we should be grateful for our ageing bodes, specially if nothing hurts in the morning 😂. Also, I cut all the toxic people from my life! Life is so beautiful and so short- don't spend it gossiping or worse being jealous. Thank you for your hard work 💜

Thanks Kay, this was lovely! I just turned 71 two days ago and in this youth culture I need to remember that my age is all right. As a long term cancer survivor I know every day is a gift and the body I have is ok too! It’s gets me where I want to go and supports the things I need and want to do. God loves us just the way we are and that is the most important thing.

Thank you Kay for a timely message given with such GRACE! I 100 % agree that wisdom doesn't come with age. I have worked my whole life with elders or people who had significant challenges both mentally, physically or intellectually. When it's all been said and done it is only our character that will shine through and go to heaven with us. Being a Christian, I know that I am nothing without the Holy Spirit working in me to smooth off those rough ages THAT come with age and by faith hopefully make me into a gracious elder who can point the way in life by my actions and reactions and not many words. Blessings to you and your family! xo Dawn from Vancouver Canada

That was lovely, Kay. I agree on all points. I have belonged to this athletic club for about 25 years. The same people have been there all these years, and we are all getting older and some of us, can't do this class, or that tennis game anymore. But that is OK, we are all in the same boat and we all lift each other up and are happy to chat before or after class. No one is a downer or complainer. I expect that is because we are all getting some exercise and happy to be together doing it. We are mostly a happy sociable group, although we do know something about each other's lives, injuries and travels. The first and only time I was ever jealous was in 8th grade when a very attractive girl I thought was about to take away my current boyfriend. And then I thought, so what if she did, who cares, she can have him if he wants to go. He never did, and that was the last time that I felt jealousy. And eventually she and I became friends. Jealousy is such a useless emotion. My husband is a pessimist which drives me crazy. I can't understand why he can't be more grateful and happy at what we do have or what he has achieved in this life. Sometimes, the people who need to write down their gratitude's are the ones not doing it. It would do him good to keep a gratitude journal even for a week. Thanks, Kay, for those thoughts.
