Teeth is a great movie. It is so refreshing to see a movie that emphasizes the need for consent, the purity culture that’s heavily enforced onto young girls, and to see a woman taking control. She’s like this sort of anti-hero, and as a woman, you can’t help rooting for her while watching it. The beauty of horror is that it’s a genre in which you can make movies that wouldn’t work or be taken seriously in any other genre, and that speak about pressing real life issues.

I don't think "Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes" was meant to be a proper horror movie, since it was pretty much a satire that poked fun at all the tropes found in sci-fi and horror movies from the past, and it was done in a way that was meant to be funny, especially with all the fourth-wall breaks and song sequences that practically happen out of nowhere.

When I saw Berberian Sound Studio, the director did a Q & A afterwards, where he explained that the best way of getting the effect of a trough of rotting fruit and veg, was to get a trough of fruit and veg and leave it to rot. :)

No Rubber, Killer Sofa, Bad Milo or Butt Boy? In Fabric, Bite, the Stuff or the Happening? Ridiculous premises are what make a lot of horror really great. They make it easy to suspend your disbelief versus a film about torture porn or home invasion, things that could actually happen.

Honestly, you kinda do need to say more. Cause Human Centipede isn't some campy, fun romp into the realms of absurdism. It's treated like a psychological thriller with half the movie dedicated to the growing despair of the primary characters. It's got the same kinda feel a Dogtooth or something. The only thing odder about the premise is honestly how the executed it.

Teeth was also a type of old school American derogatory slang when talking about a female. If a female is perceived as a "b****" then guys would say, "Careful. That p**** has teeth." That was also back when men were pissed off about the Women's Lib Movement and women actually having a voice, finally.
