Mam i think i have shoulder wingling and by now i think my rib of right side has proture front wards and there seems a asymmetry between the alingment of both the ribs and most of time it is also painful either. I feels my rib of right side is shrinking and my shoulder blade pops out. There is a lot of clicking sound at my shoulder ball movement. How shall i fix it and bring my shoulder and ribs to proper alingment and normal movements. Kindly help me out with few of your suggestions with regards to exersices and other measures i should seek

Hi doctor . For how long should I do these exercises like every day for an hour and how long does it take for results
@Archloop4 жыл бұрын
It's sort of a daily routine, do it everyday and just a couple of sessions a day. Hold it for a comfortable amount, say 30 seconds? 20 seconds, relax.. then engage again. About thrice. About which one to do... I'd say, if you're comfortable, all of them. If that's not possible, you'll realize eventually which ones work the best.

@@Archloop you think I can swim with this?
@Archloop4 жыл бұрын
@@aryavirsangwan6837 Yeah you'll probably be fine but you could develop a bad technique, meaning it could be inneficient and maybe cause other injuries. Probably check in with a PT before any regular physical activity that involves repeated shoulderblade activation

Thank you! Been doing this for about 4 days and the winging has definitely improved, it's not completely gone but I'm sure with more days, it'll eventually disappear.

Hi Doctor. I am really benefited. I have one unsolved problem. In whole day I work in my office, lift light objects etc with no problem. However when I sleep at night on my back, my right hand and the portion above scapula starts paining in such a way that I can not have calm sleep. In whole day even I forget which hand was paining. Your advice could be of much help, I am sure. Thanks in advance.

I know everyone in the comments says this , but I’ve had this for over a year or 2 but never used to take notice of it and thought it was just natural, I don’t feel a pain when I’m normal but sometimes now when I breathe in I am in pain and I believe this to be due to this cause. As I’ve had this a long time for anyone who’s struggling with this pain I will give personal updates so I can vouch if it works or not

Can scapular winging be caused by my scoliosis? And if so, would I be able to fix it or not? Because I have an s curve in my back and one of my shoulderblades tends to stick out way more then the other. Do you think that these exercises will be effective for me and my scoliosis?

wow, one month ago I fell on my back, might have hurt a little the muscles, after one week I started working out and hurt my left shoulder, and my back or that part of shoulder blade felt strange, hardened when I looked very closely into the mirror, my left shoulder seemed to be a little higher, so I stretched it first straight like in the video at 5:33 but in the middle for both sides and felt the left was not right, then I stretched the left and the mobility of my whole shoulder got better, I think when I fell on the back I must have hurt and cramped a muscle in the left side. rotator cuff training I've done for years, this is why it was so strange, there are so many muscles that can cause trouble if cramped or shortened....by the way, a happy and successful new year!
