I have bulging discs all the way down my back. But I am recovering from a L3/L4 bulge impending my sciatica. I have been doing decompression, traction and minor chiropractic adjustments. The pain has decreased a lot and my vertibra are spreading out nicely. I am trying to do pelvic floor exercises to strengthen it as this is part of my problem. What other exercises can I do for my pelvic floor? Thank you

Are the exercises performed daily? How long did it take you to repair your hip labrum?
@AskDoctorJo
@AskDoctorJo 22 сағат бұрын
It depends on what stage of recovery you are in and how your body reacts to treatment, but in general, therapeutic exercises can be done 1-3 times a day, every day. It really just depends on where the tear is and how it's affecting the hip, but it often takes several months of consistent treatment before getting some long term relief.

As for reps, it's different for everyone depending on what your diagnosis is, how long you've had it, and how your body reacts. You're welcome. Unfortunately, I don't know that answer since I can't evaluate you. Everyone is different. If there is any way you can see a physical therapist in person, they should be able to help you figure out a specific program for you and help answer your questions.

Dr jo, Hemanth here. I do have weak core and contracted hip flexor and as a result I got my hip rolled in front of me. This is causing me knee pains. Does this stretch work for this ?

A year ago I had my both knee replacement surgery 4 months apart. After 6 months the stiffness started. I do these exercises and it helps but temporarily. After couple of hours the stiffness comes back. When it will stop getting stiff?

These exercises look like the ones I first did when I first got diagnosed with BPPV,it’s come back to me now watching how she did them in this video.My doctor said you get BPPV from either after a cold or rushing around too much which I can do at times. I’m so at ease coming across this video after trying so many other exercises that confused me.

I've been getting neck pains more and more recently. I bought one of those temper pedic pillows with the neck groove and that hasn't been effective at all. I do these neck stretches (even the ones) from you old video but anytime i sit at a desk now its only a matter of time before the pain comes back. It's noticeable now. Before stuff like this would go away and i wouldn't even be aware of it in my day to day. I might just opt for the standing desk method then sit when i get tired. Thanks for the stretches Dr. Joe.
