This makes me appreciate the babysitters I had throughout my childhood, nearly all of whom were wonderful people. A few became practically part of the family and I'm still in contact with them today. I actually had lunch with one of them recently and we went thrift shopping afterwards.

I too had babysitters and camp counselors 🌞 also Grade school Teachers that were a blessing to my childhood and my first job I was a Daycare Provider for an Alternative High School 🏫 When I attempt to imagine grown people, whom are too weak to process their own trauma thus they impose onto blameless children 👦 👧 it really makes my stomach hurt. A great trauma.

We need to change the rules of parole. If you commit a deliberate and malicious homicide, you don't get parole. If you kill a minor, you don't get parole. If you murder a baby and leave it for the neighbors to see like a trophy, YOU DON'T GET PAROLE.

I know of a few other ones: -There was a 14-year-old boy who was asked to babysit a baby. He murdered the baby, and while in jail, he told his mom on the phone that he was sure he could cry in court and they'd feel sorry for him. The phone call was filmed and sent to the judge. The judge mentioned it in court. The boy did not get away with it -Jonathan Davis's (Korn) babysitter. Her actions are sung about in the song "Daddy."

The Gonzales case sounds very similar to an in home daycare provider who abused and eventually killed a local girl in my hometown. Like Gonzales, she claimed the girl fell, but obviously, that wasn't what happened. The sad thing is the grandmother of the daycare provider, and the parents of the girl went to my church. I was in youth group with the parents, and today there's a camp named after the girl. Look up Camp Autumn if you're interested

The doctor who first described "shaken baby sybdrome" actually described how easy it could be to accidentally cause brain injuries in infants due to the delicate nature of their skulls and brains. Also, some babies suffer injuries during birth that can be exacerbated by otherwise minor jostling later. Babies are fragile.

I'm very surprised that Michael Plumadore made the list. Aliahna is actually my step-niece. Her dad is my stepbrother. I remember the call that I got from my mother like it was yesterday. What they don't tell you is that she was both deaf and blind. So she was completely defenseless. My parents were so upset when this happened, because they had offered to babysit but Aliahna's mom (being the selfish woman that she is) didn't allow them to.

What about Tianna Parks from Philadelphia? She m*rdered a 2 year old baby boy ( King Hill ) over a potty training accident, put his body in a suitcase and dumped him with curbside trash, which was picked up and sent to be burned at a landfill, his body can never be recovered and that poor baby will never have a proper burial. She was convicted of these crimes in December last year.

My boyfriend has brothers and sisters who are way younger than him, I don’t have kids of my own yet but sometimes his mom will ask me to watch over the babies. I have had a rough past with my little sister and I will forever hate myself for it, I still ask for forgiveness and reflect on my mistakes. Being with these babies brings me peace and as a former abuser myself who’s been abuse I could never put my hands on a innocent child again, not even to this extent. We all make mistakes and we all have dark past but I cannot imagine taking a innocent life💔 I understand we all go through things and our minds are just not in the right place maybe I’m stable enough but I can always come back and remmeber they are only children and they are learning from all of us❤ we have to teach the new generation love and peace, we can prevent these things from happening when we teach other to be compassionate and to be forgiving. This is beyond devastating may the innocent Rest In Peace and may these people find peace within themselves
