Would honestly swap Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence because if we're going off of what you're saying alone, Deshaun Watson is a worse QB stat wise. Also, the Jaguars are 0-4 because of coaching and the Browns' 1 win came against the poorly coached Jaguars. By that logic, Joe Burrow deserves to be on this list since the Bengals are 1-3. I'd also have guys like Anthony Richardson, Bo Nix, Will Levis, Skylar Thompson, and Bryce Young below both Watson and Lawrence based off QB play alone.

I can only speak as one who has watched the Patriots, but I suspect the problems with the QB also are similar with other teams. The Patriots are clearly in a rebuilding mode, especially on offense, and it’s tough for a QB to be effective when he’s running for his life because of a porous O-line (with lots of changes week to week) and mediocre receivers. You have to look at the offensive unit as a whole, the QB alone isn’t the problem. The Patriots will be starting their rookie qb this Sunday, but I just hope they aren’t rushing him into a situation where he gets pounded so frequently, and ends up making rookie mistakes. Being a qb is not an easy job.

I don't understand how NFL teams don't realize it is their fault we see so many young QB's struggle. They make QB changes far to soon with young QB's to quickly which in turn leads to more and more top drafted QB's struggling because of the stress of knowing that basically they get 1 year to become everything the team wanted they will be benched. It adds a lot of extra stress on the QB's. Hell it's only because the team is so bad that they were able to pick at the top of the draft and when they can't save the franchise year 1 they might be gone. The crazy thing is if the NFL was like this many years ago we may have never seen a player like Peyton Manning become the hall of famer he became. Throwing for nearly 30 picks first year? Now a days he would have lost the starting job half way through the season.
