Dan was just a great Greco Roman wrestler had no stand up skills what so ever he was more like smothered his opponents by getting them down and just staying on top didn’t have much submission skills also. Anyone who could have kept Dan on his feet would beat him. Pedro rizzo made Dan tap out to a leg kick. Dan just had absolutely no personality to have been a star in wwf at that time.

@@muhyee294 Problem uis not many people in attitude era WWE would be capable of controlling Severn and he'd tear them apart. Maybe Shamrock and Blackman but yeah, I don't see many others including Undertaker, Austin, Rock, Foley etc being able to do much with him if Severn decided to not play ball. There's a very good reason he's almost always in the top 5 toughest wrestlers lists.

But you know these wrestlers have hyped reputations and sometimes it’s all just hype as Bart Gunn proved it with dr death bradshaw and the godfather. If you haven’t seen it please watch severn vs pedro rizzo it took just one kick to neutralise Dan Severn’s wrestling.

@@muhyee294 I dont think you have watched as many Dan Severn matches as you think! Dan obliterated many strikers in his early UFC matches. Losing to a fighter like Pedro Rezzo is not something to be ashamed of. Also, Severn was already 42 years old when he lost to Rezzo. Long story short, nobody in WWF at that time whould have posed any threat to Severn, with the only exception being Shamrock of course.

He’s a better worker than Nash, as far as big men go. I think he would’ve been a good fit for DX as an enforcer, but they had Chyna for that, which I never really liked. It was the Attitude Era, but I can believe the Undertaker was enslaving the souls of his minions more easily than I can believe that Chyna could legitimately slam Mark Henry.

If you go back and look at Test's win/loss record, and how often they made him job out to people, it's really a travesty. The guy was an artist, sold moves well, absolutely had the stature to be something special, and all they did was make him get the shit kicked out of him by HHH for his whole run before his untimely death. One of the most disgusting misuses of talent ever, poor guy deserved so much more.

A ton of people were literally perfect as main eventers, or at minimum mid-carters that constantly went into the main events, but the politics and people like Triple HHH and Shawn Michaels actively held them all back.

@@AzureRoxe For sure, Test was something special though. For someone his size, he was extremely nimble, super quick, and he really made everything pop. I wouldn't say he was the most charismatic mic worker, but he was a better in-ring talent than a lot of the roster. All of that on top of him being relatively new to performing, it's just a shame. They used his size to put HHH over because he was so formidable looking.

Which u saw that in reigns and ambroses chemistry we also know rollins and ambrose had amazing chemistry in the ring standing side by side or face to face. Val would have been FIRE in DX. They didn't need to necessarily have him doing exactly what the others were doing. They could have basically done what Eddie and Chyna did, but had Val take the role of Eddie being in love with Chyna and them both being DX members.

According to Vampiro, he was originally offered to join the WWF, potentially as a way to capitalize on the then Vampire craze going on, and have him join The Brood(since his name, El Vampiro, was just Spanish for The Vampire, even though he technically didn't really show any vampiric traits character wise).

You're right HHH, Test never tore his quad, Test never booked himself to bury everybody, Test never got injured in a low speed old man collision with Billy Gunn, Test never dropped anyone on their heads with lazy/botched powerbombs, Test never backstage politicked his way into a wrestlemania payoff long past his prime or had a buddy in an executive position to always give him a spot, and Test could perform more than 6 moves without including Breck Girl hair flips and Bratz doll poses.

MJF(Inner circle): While it is true that MJF DID join Inner circle but as part of a Storyline. When AEW opened, MJF would originally be the rookie of the stable, however Tony khan was delighted with MJF's work on the microphone and charisma during the PPVs prior to Dynamite, realizing that MJF did not need to be part of an important stable to gain notoriety. So MJF was discarded from the Inner circle and Sammy guevara was put in his place. Had the original plans been executed, Sammy guevara's career would have taken a very different path and MJF might have overshadowed Chris jericho. Test(D-generation X): Another of Vince russo's stupidities could have ruined D-generation X and Test's debut. When Test arrived at WWE, Vince russo saw him and had the brilliant idea of having him debut as the D-generation X Monster. The members of D-generation X did not agree with Vince russo since they did not see Test as someone with the attitude of DX. I'm very happy about that not happen, because it would have been terrible for Test to be part of a stable like D-generation X. Big e langston(The shield): A fourth member had been planned for The shield and it would be Big e langston, for reasons that are still unknown in the end Big e langston was discarded. Maven(Evolution): It is said that after Randy orton was injured in 2003, WWE was thinking about making a Storyline where Randy orton was expelled from Evolution and that Maven would be the new member. I suppose this was canceled due to Triple h's refusal since Randy orton was his protégé and being removed from Evolution could bury him and thank god that didn't happen. If Maven had ended up in Evolution he would have been the weak link and would have ruined the stable. Thank god that didn't happen.

HHH nor HBK wanted to give the rub to anyone else by joining DX. Sean Morley was very talented, that could do mostly anything. They could've use his real name too. When Val came back he was over with the fans, but the next week HHH buried him in a match with him, so fast were always force to stop cheering their favorites. That's what the W.E would do under HHH, HHH was also behind MVP having a 20 match losing streak. And Bryan Danielson losing streak when he started out in W.E. He hated the fact that Danielson was called the best in the world, & wanted to set an example by trying to diminish his past success...

It sort of works on paper, but D-X's 'Suck it!' and sex jokes were more just a complement to their broader range of being sophomoric assholes; Val's main gimmick as a porn star would've made it all too literal, too one-note, instead of just a bunch of snarky, gleefully immature punks sticking it to their bosses.

Man Dean Ambrose in 3MB would have killed his career before it started. Val Venus definitely would have been a solid addition but thank God the Test in DX idea was nixed. Chyna in the NWO as opposed to DX man thank God Shane got her to WWF.

Test and Venis in DX could have worked for different reasons. Test being the DX enforcer, Val could easily have made his personality work and added some banter into his character, including insulting men. We all know about HBK and his ego. And HHH sucked until DX, so him having two, long haired men, coming in and being pushed, he probably did not want extra competition.
