Undertaker vs AJ Styles. If that match had happend only few years earlier (either at Wrestlemania 32 or 33) we could have probably seen one last decent if not good in ring match out of the Undertaker, instead of the lackluster match with Shane or the awful match with Roman (AJs matches with Jericho and Shane were good, but nothing to write home about). The match they had in Saudi Arabia was more of an angle and while the boneyard match was good it was not really what I was looking for when I wanted to see this match.

another one for me is Cena vs The Undertaker. I know it happened in 03, but i would have loved a full fledged feud between the two of them once Cena became the top star. Their brief Mania 34 match also happened way too late in Undertaker's career to never be able to deliver compared to matches Undertaker had with Shawn, HHH and Punk. I think around 2012-2015 would have been the "best time" But 07-09 would have also been good. They were just always on other rosters competing for that brands top championship. Shame really.

@@theswitchblade2683 yeah and mania 34 was in 2018. In 2015 he was still doing banger matches with Brock Lesnar. But if you look at the matches he had at that time they were short or not great. Cena also was not available to do something like that due to other commitments he showed up as a guest appearance basically. 2017 his match at Mania with Reigns. Botches but not the worst he'd ever done. 2018 - Super Showdown and Tag with Kane against DX - horrible. 2019 - Goldberg, horrible. Tag with Roman at Extreme Rules against Shane and Mcintyre, carried. 2020 - SuperShowdown Gauntlet not great but AJ helped him, Mania 36 a great cinematic match.

Yes!!!! Sting v Undertaker. 2014 was my last Wrestlemania because of this. Actually canceled my WWE Network after this. They gave us Taker v Brock, killed the streak, (Stupid) and they had HHH embarrass Sting, and for what? A real shocker would've been Sting besting Taker. And if you so desperately want to put Brock over, cuz everyone else he beat wasn't good enough, then why not have Brock destroy the guy boinking the bosses daughter, HHH? The only reason Sting was apart of any of this was to get in to the Hall of Fame. And I'm sorry, Undertaker is literally the only reason WCW didn't completely swallow the WWF during those Monday Night Wars. So it stands to reason you put the two most iconic legends together 15yrs later when you have the chance. I know Vince wouldn't allow Sting to take Undertakers streak, and that's fine, but you could've done a slow burn with Taker and Sting that lasted an entire year. Both are good enough, unlike Seth Rollins that injury to Sting could've been avoided. And Sting could've taken a win at any other ppv. Sting v Undertaker is what we should've got at WM31 but instead WWE got one less fan. Morons. We also missed on Bret Hart vs Kurt Angle by less than one year. Do you guys remember The Patriot? Brets rival before leaving to WCW. Patriot actually used Kurt Angles theme music. That is another rivalry we all missed on. One more, Randy Savage v Shawn Michael's. Savage actually wrote out a two year rivalry for the two of them, ending with HBK winning it all, and Vince said no. So Savage then left for WCW. I watched the interview on WWE Network.
