1. Mental clarity. Why you want to lose your belly fat? What is your motivation? Pain behind it? Unfulfilled desire? 2. How you’re going to do it? BIG 3 - Sleep - minimum 7 hours - Steps- 2000 ADDITIONAL steps than normal - Macros- multiply current weight by 12 to lose weight. Tells you how many calories to be deficit. Use the calculation and multiply to find Macros. Protein- 40% Carbs- 40% Fats- 20% 3. Meal Plan- try to eat same planned meal from your calculations 7 days. Keep meals simple. 4. Training

I just finished the first year of my fitness journey. 12000 daily step average! I expect I'll get to the ads by summer. I'm taking it slow, or rather, my work schedule is not balanced so for more than a month now I really couldn't walk a lot or worry about dieting, but I know enough to not worry about it. All of the things that worked for me, I got from you, so thanks!

I've achieved an incredible transformation - losing 25 pounds in almost three months! My weight dropped from 217 pounds to 192 pounds. To reach this milestone, I: - Trained 3-4 days a week - Averaged 10,000 steps daily - Eliminated highly processed foods like cereal, dairy, and sugary drinks from my diet - Focused on consuming vegetables, fruits, lean meats, and potatoes The game-changer for me was incorporating intermittent fasting, eating between 12 pm and 8 pm. As I continued, I felt fuller faster, even when eating smaller portions. Initially, my goal was to reach 195 pounds, but I surpassed that and felt amazing. Although I've regained some weight to fit into my favorite clothes, I'm confident I can lose more if I choose to. My advice: it's not easy, but pushing through the pain and adjusting to a new routine yields incredible results. Better sleep habits are next on my agenda! Remember, with persistence and dedication, you can achieve your weight loss goals and feel empowered by the results! Thanks for your empowering and helpful videos Doctor!

Honestly, my motivation is that I hate seeing my body on the mirror with all the belly fat, the stretch mark. I totally agree with the first step, for me I learned that what happen to my body is my own fault and the only one can change that is me. So I started small, move more, start lifting, watch alot of your youtube video and other creator about nutrion, and after 1,5 years of consistancy I manage to reduce my weight form 101Kg to 64kg. For all you that still on the journey, keep strong and remember every little step is okay, whats matter is that WE started and WE gonna finish it

My biggest problem with sleep I think is age. I'm 48. 5'10" and 167lbs and I still have some fat and skin on my belly. The rest looks pretty good. Buy not getting up at night to pee is a challenge and that interrupts my sleep.

My belly fat is not completely gone but is significantly reduced. My why was that I wanted to feel lighter, fit in my clothes better, wear skirts, shorts without my legs getting hurt. I was really motivated after I gained more weight. I lost 10 kgs in something like 3 months. First, I added HIIT exercises, it was for my mental health. Then I started to be careful about my diet, I was eating home cooked meals and more protein. I was only getting concerned about calories when I was eating high cal foods or outside. After that, I gained 2 kgs during summer, but it was a small amount compared to the amount I lost. Then I continued my diet as usual. But I wasn't seeing any results on the scale and it had been a few weeks. I mean I was probably gaining muscle too but I wanted to lose weight a bit faster, I was getting frustrated. So I decided to track every calorie, significantly increased my calorie deficit and exercise. Since then, I lost 3 kgs in about 3 weeks. 🎉 I look more toned. I am feeling stronger, I am doing my daily activities much more easily, weight training really paid off. Clothes fit me better, I'm feeling better. When I set my mind to it, it really happened. Now I'm so used to eating salads so much sometimes I even crave carrots, tomatoes. I'm gonna continue like this until I reach my weight goal. I'm gonna do whatever it takes. Then I will go with maintaining.

Hi Doctor Mike! Thank you first for your great work on helping us with your channel! I have a question on slow metabolism: I made a test over a breath metabolism analyzer and it showed me a resting metabolic rate of 1385 instead of calculated 1900kcal. (41yrs-165cm-90kg-28%BF) I heared that some people have smaller organs then others and this can give someone a lower metabolic rate then same person with same parameters. What's your opinion on this or is this a myth? I did another test 5 years ago and it showed the sames low 1400kcal resting metabolic rate. So I'm a slow burner. I appreciate any help on this.. I struggle a lot with loosing weight because of this and I don't want to go lower in calories. Right now I eat 1750kcal (40C/40P/20F) with 3x Full Body Workout and 10K steps a day.. Thank you for any suggestion and feedback 🙏🏼

Dr. Mike, I've been increasing and intensifying exercise every week. I like challenging myself. But I'm not sure how far it would go. Is there a max limit that should be set for exercise? Btw, I'm having a rest day every week.

I think but not expert just don't exhaust yourself because it would prevent muscle gain. When I improved my walking all of a sudden, I started being exhausted. Then I rested one full off day. I gained muscle by resting. You should not push it that far. Just feel your energy and you'll know

Hey boss, I'm not sure if the weight x 12 math works as the weight goes up. I've lost 12 pounds recently, but even at 270 now that would mean I'd be in a deficit at 3240 calories, which I have some serious doubts about. It'd also mean I'd be looking at 324 grams of protein a day, which is a massive amount for someone trying to lose weight.
