Well what a journey it has been so far with my 1992 Mazda RX7 FD3S Efini. I must say I have been extremely lucky compared to other RX7 FD owners because I've had 10 years of enjoyment with hardly any issue's. Many UK car enthusiasts will recognize my RX7 FD Build from many car shows I have attended over the years and I'd like to thank you all for the positive feedback I've received from every single show/event I've attended.

Great build Ben, the amount of time, money, and patience that was put into this car is incredible! Absolutely in love with the look of the car and think you did an outstanding job. Just do me two favors: Never LS swap it, and never sell it!

Hey, thank you for the positive feedback it means a lot. yeah everything on it has been done bit by bit with being 21 when I bought it! so I wasn't on the best of money back then and still building a career! but now I've managed to pull through it all and got good storage for the car I definitely don't plan on selling it and will be going all out on a single turbo set up once I get some non car related stuff out the way first. I will be videoing everything for people to follow my journey 👍

There are too many people out there cutting corners these days on their builds, so I have a huge amount of respect for the guys that take it slow and steady, and don't cut those corners even when money is tight! Hey, I bought the car for 5.5k back in 2012 as that was pretty much the market price for a 1992 early FD back then. Don't ask me how much I've spent since then and still spending from this point onwards lol

@@RotaryandRides the joys/perks of owning a project car 😂 yeah I remember browsing whilst at uni back in '14 and seeing them around 5k.. ended up pulling the trigger and getting a non-runner towards the end of last year for around 14k lol

@@MCNappeh it's weird because the market for these were really low for years and then around 2017 they start to creep up in value and now they are just crazy money. Tbh even 14k is a good buy looking at the prices now. If I was to give any new buyer some advice it would be to buy a single turbo converted one with good history and bodywork even if it does cost you a little more just purely because the parts and labour charges are madness nowadays to get anything sorted out.

@@RotaryandRides it's probably like a lot of the people who grew up around that era are being able to afford them now and prices just going up to reflect the scattered supply yea assuming the engine rebuild is smooth i think it was a decent price (interior is v good condition and body overall fine outside of some surface rust here and there) - just being lazy on making progress lol are you planning on doing the future engine bay changes yourself?

@@MCNappeh I'd love too but I haven't got the full knowledge and equipment to do it plus I'm gunna need a custom wiring loom done for a Haltech ECU ect but all the buying process ect and stages will all be videoed and posted on this channel when I start it all
