yeah, the sheer numbers plus familiarity and ease of the early stars, plus the more tedious ones like 100 coins, give an advantage to the youtubers with their superior numbers, but the tougher stars later on favor the speedrunners as they just keep plowing through star after star, even in the later stages. overall, it makes things very interesting and entertaining to watch Edit: after watching, that's exactly what i expected, TTC and RR tripped up the casuals enough for Cheese and Simple to catch up and win

Yeah, people started begging him to do another commentated video, hoping for a meme, which was why he wasn't doing any more. He felt too pressured. Cheese's movement is slick. After seeing how casually perfect that slide trick was I checked him out, I can see why he holds so many current world records on the game. I love SimpleFlips but comparing the two you can tell he's not active and practising. He's fast when it works but Cheese is on point with every single movement he makes.
