George Perez was the first writer to treat Wonder Woman with any respect. I wish more writers would take inspiration from his run instead of ignoring it.

Most of her best stuff is concentrated in a handful of runs. George Perez’s post-Crisis revamp, Greg Rucka’s run leading up to Infinite Crisis, Gail Simone’s in the late 2000s, and Brian Azzarello’s New 52 run. Any of these will give you a good sense of the character

I got check out "For a Thousand of Years.." story I really love the dynamic vibe between Superman and Wonder Woman. Reminds me of Conan the Barbarian and Red Sonja team up. Hopefully this would be better than reading the New 52's crap.

Funny thing is Tom King used a very, very similar plot in an issue of his Batman run in which Batman and Wonder Woman face a similar situation. It seems to be some kind of writer’s dream to be stuck in another dimension with Diana.

@@comicbelief I remember back in 2017 when Gail Simone wrote crappy crossover for Conan/Wonder Woman, and it felt really boring story because of the fact that it was unnecessary crossover for a franchise character to appear in different time period for another character who are both strongest. The artwork was decent but story and the context overall felt pretty off at times of reading it, more like it was made in the 90's.
