Refusing to let the Jedi order get involved in the war until the civilian death toll was high enough, rather than entering the war early on and preventing a lot of them. Fun fact: When Obi-Wan said he had the high ground, he was actually just taunting Anakin to jump over him. In sword fighting (or with lightsabers) being higher up is more dangerous because your lower half is more exposed, which is harder to defend than your upper body, giving Obi the clear disadvantage. When Obi said that he had the high ground, it goes backs to Obi’s fight with Maul, where Maul was above Obi and he jumped over Maul before cutting him in half. Anakin would know this story as Obi’s padawan, being told stories of his adventures and his master, Qui-Gon.

For every Andor or High point you can spot, you get Acolyte, Ahsoka, or Book of Boba, or Kenobi popping up and having fans wondering what the heck is happening to the setting they liked so much. It just is disappointing when certain things crop up and it feels like a joke. For example ,Kenobi, I heard the original trilogy premises for the movie idea, it sounded fire but nobody bit, abd then Solo failed to make a good splash so they canned them and made that show.

@@1faithchick7 No, Rebels was the first show made after Disney bought Lucasfilm, it was just done by Dave Filoni & co who made TCW under direction from George Lucas. There are also a lot of good canon novels, and not all of the canon comics are horrible, it's just the live action and "High Republic" stuff they keep mucking over. And good games like the Cal Kestis Jedi series are also canon under Disney. And let's not forget the later parts of the post-OT Legends was absolute crap years and years before Disney entered the picture. It's just that the 20-30 ABY timeperiod is cursed regardless of what continuity touches it, Legends or Canon.

To clarify, Kreia says that Revan, “it was like looking into the heart of the Force.” And then describes Meetra as more of a void, a blank spot. Kreia called meetra the greatest because of how she lined up with Kreia’s belief on strength, not raw power. Revan is stronger, but Meetraks existence as a “wound in the force” is unique and something Kreia is interested in

You should look into Obi-wan’s life, he’s a fascinating character. One of the coolest things is how he completely changed his lightsaber form after Qui-gon died. He originally studied his master’s form, Form IV Ataru, which uses a lot of flashy acrobatics and dodges but Maul used that to his advantage. Obi-wan observed that weakness and completely switched to Form III Soresu. It’s known as the defensive form or resiliency form and is the most effective against blasters, a large number of opponents and aggressive lightsaber forms. This change made him an effective fighter against droids, large armies and Sith, notably the 3 main enemy types in the war.

He has a hard time understanding Obi-Wan's significance to the story because he doesn't have all the insane fantastical feats as many of the other figures in the lore but he was up there with the rest by the end of the Clone Wars and only grew more powerful in the Force with age even if his body couldn't keep up with him during his final encounter with Vader. I also think he should do a deep dive into Dooku's life.

As much as I hate Disney, you cannot blame them for Doctor Who. That's 100% on BBC. They still own the IP. Disney just gets to publish it on Disney+ and have no input into it of note. The prophecy of the Chosen One is believed to be an opposite to the Sith'ari, so Anakin killing Sidious and ending Darth Bane's order accomplished this because all other Sith after that weren't considered part of Bane's lineage. And even when Sidious came back, he pretty much gave up all Sith philosopy and became a mere dark sider, he even refered to himself as Palpatine, not Sidious, until his final death.

Scaling Ahsoka above Revan is such a joke. Kreia explains to Meetra in KOTOR 2 that Revan quickly mastered everything he learned, and that being in his presence was like being in a maelstrom of the force. She said "Revan was power." Ahsoka has never been compared to the force in that way.

To THEM, Balance means the destruction of the Sith, however, Anakin did bring Balance. The Jedi were stagnant and spread out across the Galaxy and the Sith were condensed into 2 beings. By breaking both Orders he spreads the Force evenly in a Balanced State.

One thing about Vader, is that after getting his limbs replaced with robotic implants, he thinks he is weaker than he should be, and that he lost midiclorians, but he could be a lot stronger than he is if he realized it doesn't mater.... he could be the most powerful Sith in history, if he just realized that him loosing his limbs, doesn't make his connection with the force weaker, because what was stopping him, for the most part, was that mindset, and from the other part, Sidious, who actively sabotaged Vather in every way possible, a suit who was weak to lighting, and that was inefficient and heavy AF... The Full potential Vader comic shows this when he battles the Council and later kills the Emperor, at least in the Dark Side Dimension, not legimately. It shows his force being is made of the dark side except for his arms, being light side. This is even shown later when Luke enters the Dark Side Dimension, who is shown being made of the light side.

Man that video of Grievous just running to collect every lightsaber was both unexpected and hilarious lmao. Some people don't realize that General Grievous was no joke. Looking at Revenge of the Sith he got his ass handed to him by Obi-Wan. And in clone wars he wasn't well represented either. But the comics... the comics are where it's at if you want to see an OP Grievous. Most people don't think about that Grievous wasn't a Sith, he didn't use force powers. Except for his cybernetics he was pretty much a regular trooper. What made him insane was his cybernetic upgrades AND then being taught lightsaber combat by Dooku who ws considered 1 of the best duelist of his time. Dooku literally fought Obi-Wan AND Anakin and was about to win before Yoda showing up. Except for his cybernetics he was pretty much a regular person out there bodying Jedi Knights which is unheard of. Plus, since he was a General and taught by Dooku he wasn't out there just fighting any Jedi. When he fought it was the best Jedi there like Obi-Won.

Thank you! Seth's Star Wars scaling has a ton of problems. He even used as evidence a passage that contradicts him. Since it states that Bane's Rule of Two was meant to stop infighting and weak Sith ganging up on and killing the more powerful ones. It has nothing to do with the Force being more concentrated into a limited number of beings. Yoda's explanation for the Force is the exact opposite. It gains power from life. The Force is hypothetically almost infinite, most Force users struggle to tap into its true capabilities, thus the concept of Oneness, which is why someone like Galen can go beyond his limits and temporarily hold off Palpatine to allow the Rebels to escape, but would normally get bodied. Jedi at their peak become one with the will of the Force and channel its power. Sith on the other hand try to usurp and enslave it to their will, but end up being betrayed by the Dark Side and losing at some point. The Rule of Two is effective in destroying the Jedi and taking over the galaxy not because they super saiyan powered up, but because through secrecy they undermined the Jedi.

so with grievous vs windu, not only was grievous pressing windu in the fight, but windu uses a specific style of combat that requires a mastery of the force to use properly. grievous's cybernetics and mind started to learn to adapt this style and was slowly learning it without having the force, so windu had to end it quickly. also windu crushed grievous's chest with the force. grievous's armor has survived an orbital bombardment not only hitting him, but collapsing an entire planet's tectonic plate/upper crust ontop of him. and he walked away simply pissed off. and not only did windu crush it, but obi-wan ripped it open.

Exar Kun beat the shit out of Luke fuckin Skywalker while being in the weakest state he had ever been in, Vodo being able to trade blows with him easily makes him top 10, and Revan scales above Malak who was running the Star Forge at 300% capacity which means he has the power of 3 Stars and the Revan who beat Malak is nowhere near Prime Revan, Revan easily makes top 3 scaling above the likes of Yoda, Obi Wan and Mace Windu. Something that I think makes Jacen Solo/Darth Caedus even more interesting is that when he knew he was about to be killed, that he would definitely lose the fight he was in the middle of, his first instinct, his very first impulse, was not self-preservation, but to, with every fiber of his being, with every ounce of strength he had left, warn the people he loved that they were the target of an assassination (as a faction that was against his lover was trying to kill her and he was unable to reach them to protect them himself) using the force. He purportedly was doing the force equivalent of screaming at the top of his lungs, praying they understood they were in danger. He showed _why_ the dark side isn't necessarily _evil,_ but more-so about passion and love being corrupted into power, as his motivations were spurred by a force vision in which his future child grew up to unite the galaxy in peace and his fall to the dark side came about from attempting to force this future to come to pass. His motivation was good, but he was so blinded by wanting the good to come to pass that he started doing bad things to bring about those good things.

Lucas has gone back and forth on this, but at one point he said that the Light Side was balance, and the Dark Side was Chaos. In that sense Anikin actually destroying the Dark Side would have been bringing balance. It seems like a lot of people didnt like that idea and rather the Yin/Yang idea that both Dark and Light are necessary to the force. (Lucas has made several statements to this effect too) Safe to say that there was a lot of waffling, even in Cannon about the philosophy of the force.

@@wingsoffreedom3589 ok. I was making a comment about how perception of the fictional force in a fictional universe has changed and evolved over the years, not picking a side. Having read most of the Legends Books that Nux Scrolled through, I could argue that the idea of Grey Jedi is also pretty modern in comparison, but things outside of the Jedi/Sith Binary have been around since very early days. As it's an world with multiple creators and many different POV's it makes sense that different perspectives shine through. Im definitely not going to attatch myself too hard to any of them, until writers and creators can settle on and maintain an established cannon or until I figure out the force for myself and am finally able to levitate the cup which is just out of reach right now. If I develope telekinetic powers, Ill definitely factor that in to my moral perspective. and if Im only able to do it with rahe, hate, and anger, Ill still try to channel it into productive possitive uses.

In the Novel of Revenge of the Sith, Mace said "Anakin Skywalker is the most powerful Alive just now, and he is still getting Stronger". At the moment pf his turn to the darkness Anakin has a Chimeratic Lightsaber Style, he had two styles used as the main core, Form IV Ataru, an acrobatic form, and Form V Djem So, the physical, the strength. The aggressiveness and ferocity came from form VII Juuyo, and by his constantly matches With Dooku he Integrated some forms of Form II Makashi. Thats Why as the Cyborg Vader, He used so proficient the Hybridized Form II + Form V.
