It looked to me like when a zombie killed a clone soldier, creating a new zombie soldier, the rest of the clones didn't target it as an enemy, allowing the "turned" soldiers to decimate the adjacent clones with impunity.

Also I'm not completely sure that the troopers were deployed effectively. Staging 400 troopers at a choke point is all good, but if half don't have line of sight are they even firing? Also one of the choke points had a access point blocked by a building so only about a fourth of the troopers would even be aware of the approaching threat. The best defense is with overlapping fire. You could do a star configuration around the center building and this would likely be very effective. And yes, based on the video, converted clone troopers didn't appear to be targetable initially so each converted clone trooper might infect another before the original was even a possible target. And last point is height is your friend. put those troopers on a roof with only a single stairway as an access point and even with a mountain of kills to allow for additional access points it is very unlikely that the troopers would have lost.

The reason why the clones were losing was because , the death troopers were killing them in like one hit and turning them as well into death troopers. And with the troopers being so close together they are easily able to turn the other clones in their row.

With a bit better placement the clones could have done a lot better. It doesn't matter how good your gun is if when the enemy turns the corner it's already smacking you in the face. Besides that, absolutely loved it!

A big problem was positioning. It was terrible and yes you did put them in decent choke points but those points where very close range. To get the biggest effect the troopers need distance to start thinning the numbers off from a far distance not like 3 seconds ahead of them around a corner of a building.

2:24 Actually according to the lore of the Blackwing Virus, the zombies were physically stronger, faster and more relentless. Blaster fire may have been effective against them, but the Death Troopers from the books were always quickly growing in numbers and intelligence. So yeah, you were wrong to say they aren't smart.

Sorry but gotta downvote this video. The issue is you made no attempts to actually spread out the clone troopers in any of the tests so that they can actually maximize their fire power. Where most of their field of view are just completely blocked off. If you are more than 3 ranks deep adding more soldiers doesn't help because none of the guys in the back can shoot or rather they just shoot up into the air. Not to mention when you began to add guys you didn't bother trying to position them in choke where they had good line of sight, you put them right near a bend where they couldn't shoot until the death troopers were basically right on top of them. Positioning and strategy is more important than number. If you aren't going to give the clone troopers the numbers then you have to give them some strategy and positioning which you didn't. Almost everything you did throughout the video was especially counter intuitive. Also in most case, against an unarmed enemy it is better be on the low ground rather than high ground in games where line of sight matters because soldiers in the ranks behind can point their guns up at enemies, while being on the high ground usually only the front rank can fire. Try a spread out checker board formation next time, that way you have more surface area for front squares / ranks, and the front squares act as speed bumps for the rear squares once the enemy reaches your front lines, that way you don't lose the entire company of men in one short point blank massacre.

Something I would like to point out is that in your 10,000 clones vs 10,000 stormtroopers vid, you claimed Clones where better the Stormtroopers. This is an easy mistake to make. One can ague that clones where trained from birth therefore they've trained for longer, well they also aged faster, so it probably ended up balancing out. Secondly, stormtroopers are not ruffians, they are elite soldiers, you can easily die in training and it is highly demanding, the ruffians where the Imperial army, not the Stormtrooper Corp. Imperials troopers also had much better equipment, ever wonder why no one goes for headshots on stormtroopers? Their helmets could resist blaster bolts, their armor was no joke either we see Stormtroopers die in one shot on screen, in reality they would actually get back up most of the time. Their armor was designed to disperse energy that hit the armor, meaning the rebels had to use very powerful weapons to stand a chance. Going back to the helmet, Stormtrooper helmets had flash filters (to stop them bein blinded by the light from lasers), climate control, climate control and built in cameras (I'm probably missing a few other features). The only reason stormtroopers are jokes, are because we only ever see them against people with plot armor, in reality it was a lot more like the opening scene of ' A new hope'. Stormtroopers were also trained psychologically to prioritize the mission over their own lives, and it worked. They were also trained to not view themselves as an individual, but as a unit and that they had to do everything for the unit. They were no rabble, look to the Imperial army (the ones that Han Solo ended up a part of). If you don't take my word for it, take Generation Tech's!
