For the longest time I couldn't commit to learning Polish from low motivation. All of a sudden, I just feel like learning a language until I master it, and I thought this should be my second language since I am half-polish. Your channel is helping my vocab and language progress so much, dzięki

I'm from Ireland I had the same issue paid 2 grand for polish lessons I then lost motivation then all of a sudden was interested now I love it the trick is to set an alarm for 7 minutes it tricks your brain into getting started and you end up doing more but 7 minutes a day is powerful

I will be adding many of these phrases to my study guide for our trip to Gdansk in August. My nephew teaches English there and of course he met a young lady. Also, what is your opinion of The Travel Linguist (youtube)?
@PolishwithMonika2 жыл бұрын
Travel Linguist goes through the phrases really slowly, so it might be helpful when learning. However, I am a little bit skeptical in showing the English transcription below the phrases e.g. "siedem" as "syedem" or "dziesięć" as "jeshench". Very often there is no sound equivalent in English and the transcript is only approximate which might be misleading. In my opinion, it is better to familiarize with the Polish way of writing and not get distracted with approximate English transcript. Especially that the Polish is based on the Latin alphabet.

Chcę uczyć się tego piękniego języka . Myślę, że jesteś naijlepszą nauczyciełką Polskiego, Mam pytanie : Jaka jest różnica mędzy słowami Jésli i jeżeli?
@aniakrol35182 жыл бұрын
Cześć, nie ma różnicy między jeśli, a jeżeli. Są to synonimy. Hey, there is no difference between "jeśli" and "jeżeli". They are synonyms.
@T_sz__L_ski2 жыл бұрын
Jeśli is more common, and jeżeli is little rarer because of more official tone

Hey, if you ever try learning Polish, you’ll seriously go mad! Just take the verb rzucać (which means to throw) - the number of ways it can be conjugated is overwhelming. (singular) 33. rzucajcie - throw! (plural) 34. nie rzucaj - don’t throw! (singular) 35. nie rzucajcie - don’t throw! (plural) Tryb przypuszczający (Conditional mood): 36. rzucałbym - I would throw (masculine) 37. rzucałabym - I would throw (feminine) 38. rzucałbyś - you would throw (masculine singular) 39. rzucałabyś - you would throw (feminine singular) 40. rzucałby - he would throw 41. rzucałaby - she would throw 42. rzucałoby - it would throw 43. rzucalibyśmy - we would throw (masculine) 44. rzucałybyśmy - we would throw (feminine) 45. rzucalibyście - you would throw (plural masculine) 46. rzucałybyście - you would throw (plural feminine) 47. rzucaliby - they would throw (masculine) 48. rzucałyby - they would throw (feminine) Imiesłowy (Participles): 49. rzucający - throwing (masculine) 50. rzucająca - throwing (feminine) 51. rzucające - throwing (neuter) 52. rzucany - being thrown (masculine) 53. rzucana - being thrown (feminine) 54. rzucane - being thrown (neuter) Bezokolicznik (Infinitive): 55. rzucać - to throw Imiesłów przysłówkowy (Adverbial participle): 56. rzucając - while throwing 57. rzuciwszy - having thrown And these are just the basics, without getting into deeper details like reflexive forms or more advanced linguistic structures. Still feeling brave enough to learn Polish? 😅 Good luck!
@SCK58627 күн бұрын
So the important thing is! - When you visit Poland, never ever throw anything... Then you won't need to explain what happened as that would be so tricky to explain! 🤭
