Hey Joel! Can you make a video about how to have healthy teeth, more in-depth tips and tricks about oral hygiene that only dentists know?

Hi Joel! Your videos are awesome - I don’t have friends or family in the industry so it’s nice to have someone that feels like a mentor. I am going into dental school and I love research and would really like to incorporate it into my career in some way or another. Do you have any insight on research in the dental field??

What advice do you have for someone who has applied to dentistry for 3 year and has gotten rejected (I have also already worried in improving my gpa to the best if my abilities and am retaking the DAT)? I am also in Canada, do you think it is worth it to apply out of province that only take 1-5 applicants and require much higher scores? What other science career paths besides dentistry would you recommend? Thank you! I love your videos!

Hey, I'm debating whether to study dentistry or computer engineering. Having had parents as dentist I've noticed that pulling out teeth and the blood with it is definitely not something for me. I do however enjoy it more then computer engineering. Do you think I should continue with it or not?
@Bobcat00 Жыл бұрын
Sounds like it might be neither ? The blood and stuff can get easier over time but if you’re not too far along in your educational career then there’s no issue with exploring other options to find what makes you passionate

Is it better to go to a gareenteed or direct admission program, than a typical route?
@jmey2 жыл бұрын
Better is all relative, but if you get accepted a a combined program and you like the dental school - it certainly is more of a sure thing
@lemon93122 жыл бұрын
@@jmey In your opinion, is it worth going to a combined program? Would you go to a combined program if you had the chance?

i have small question but quite important for me. If i have rich family and I am really smart so that means that i have A´s can i be a good dentist or not? because it is my dream job :D. i will be very thankful for short answer just to know.

Get good grades in university, don’t choose a program that’s too difficult as gpa is important, get lots of extracurriculars, ideally shadow a dentist/ get some research experience during your undergrad, and then apply for a dental school!
