Have no fear the doctors here! To get the wound to seal, simply remove the bandage and place the wound directly on the exhaust manifold or header. Be sure to get as close to the engine head as possible for best heat distribution. Should an infection occur, simply apply starting fluid or gasoline directly to the effected area, this will kill just about anything. This will obviously cause pain but it can be managed. Have the patient face due north, while having a friend directly behind them. Have the friend place a stiff kick directly to the scrotum and the patient will most certainly forget about the pain in the hand! For those who may doubt my medical prowess, keep in mind that my initials are in fact MD! Enjoy your trip 😁

What a great trip you guys are having, it looks like so much fun. I hope Marcos hand heals up quickly, has he had a Tetanus shot lately, I just noticed that your spare tire is located under the Jeep. I would strongly recommend that you install a skid plate covering it before you do any serious Rock climbing. I sliced the heck out of a spare tire on rocks and didn't realize it was unusable until I needed it...

Just something an Australian watching noticed you lucky guys can lock your fuel pump on and don’t have to stand there holding it the whole time. In Australia only some high flow diesel pumps (truck pumps) have that feature. Standard fuel pumps don’t do it and we have to hold the trigger down the whole time haha

Love these videos, some of the best overlanding and adventure planning tutorials out there, prolly have watched some of these so many times if it were a tape deck it’d be worn out by now...question for Marco and Brad, do you guys run a heavier spring on your Jeeps with all the gear and if so, how is the overall drivability without weight as opposed to it? I love my 2014 JKU that I’ve built for overlanding and adventure too but am so torn as to whether I should do the heavier spring set (like an AEV overlanding set) and just looking for some realworld experience advise. Hope to see you out on the trails out east some time, making our way out west next year...all be safe, take care!

If you ever have a super bad cut...once wait til it stops bleeding or if it’s an older cut mix together real honey with wound ointment to make the honey thicker so it doesn’t ooze from the dressings ,it works great to take inflammation away + the added benefits the honey gives as antibacterial & antimicrobial. Just found your channel w/lite brite every1 explains their rigs but maybe someone could go over suggests on the trailer set ups:)

I wouldn’t be too paranoid about the Fridge running off the main battery, I’ve run one off my TJ battery for two solid days (without starting the Jeep) camping on the Rubicon Trail, just connect a Solar trickle charger to the Jeep battery to keep it topped off.

off topic ... my wife and I recently came across a massive Global Expedition vehicle. It is huge! We were wondering if that off-road vehicle could actually handle trails such as Imogene Pass and etc. It seems too wide and too tall. Thoughts?
@Nick-tp1gp4 жыл бұрын
@19:36 seems like one possible solution is one from NASA, which is redundancy. Run an additional power outlet from the battery into the cab for the fridge. If your GoalZero is discharged overnight, then you could power the fridge off the battery while driving the next day's trail-leg; all while the GoalZero is catching up on its charge. And it's not the worst expense in the world if you decided to upgrade your alternator. I bet there are good ideas from yourself as well as other viewers, but that's my two cents. And as always, Brad, love the channel. Happily aboard the E3 Overland team.

@evilcam4 жыл бұрын
When Brad said Marco's hand was injured and swelling, I instantly thought of the end of Wesley and Inigo Montoya's sword fight in The Princess Bride. Where, after the classiest, friendliest and one of the most entertaining duels in cinema history, Inigo is disarmed, and asks Wesley to kill him quickly, Wesley said he would no sooner destroy a stained glass window, than kill an artist with a blade, like Inigo. Marco is an artist when it comes to camp cooking, so the very notion that his hand was injured and possibly infected and definitely swelling, was as offensive to me as killing Inigo was offensive to Wesley. The man is a virtuoso, and like Inigo or a stained glass window, everything about him must be protected and preserved, so he can continue to impress the world, with his art. On that note, if you are gonna have an injured hand out on the trail, Brad is probably one of the best people around to deal with it, as I think he said he made a career in the military as a corpsman or medic. So, he obviously knows what he is doing, when it comes to treating lacerations and trying to avoid infections. Man...this caravan has a very eclectic, and admirable cast of characters on it.
