Good food, good friends, and good vistas. What more could you want. Totally agree a trailer is not for everyone, but transferring some of that weight from Marco’s Jeep to the trailer I’m sure has been a godsend. Also at 4 months I see the dogs are into their teething phase. Brings back good memories of when my Shepherd would chew on a bone for hours on end.

Hey! In Queensland Australia many of your adventures parallel ours - great people, great gear, great food. Having travelled the deserts of our little island, the outback, the real bush it is pretty good to see your version. Particularly in 2020, a challenging year. Brad your happy smiling face is fantastic, it is something we look forward to - living the dream.

Me and a buddy did the Rimrocker in early June, starting in Montrose. Amazingly cool. The only other rigs we met on the trail in 3 days was a convoy of Jeeps that had decided to have lunch, smack in the middle of the narrow and rocky trail near La Sal I think. They asked if we could wait 15 m for them to finish. We were in no particular hurry, so we waited and eventually got into Moab a short while later. The scenery was just stunning the entire way! If I were to do it again, I’d probably take 4 days and explore some of the intersecting trails and maybe some mine exploration. Can’t wait for the next episode!

Really enjoying your video adventures. Ironically my son and I just did the Rim Rocker (from Montrose to Moab) at the end of July. We did it in two days and spent the night at Buckeye Reservoir (nice little camping area)... lots of fun and a great time. As you said most is pretty tame, with the most rough part being a rocky cobble stone patch in Utah. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

I don't know where I saw one of those blue water jugs that can filter water, but that is a great item to have for sure! if you can find a stream coming down from one of those mountains, you don't have to worry about it as much, but that is a great item to have camping and off road travel!

Thanks for sharing Brad, wish we had 2 days to explore Rim Rocker, but we're just using it as a connecting trail out of Telluride to Moab. Good to get a preview though! We've got 10 days on trail starting this Tuesday in Santa Ysabel and ending in Tahoe, going through AZ, CO, and UT, logging about 1200 miles of dirt :)
