Hi I am Mommabear2many many! Mom to 14 children 12 of my children still live here at home. We have a baby due in October! Join me in my day to day life as we prepare enough food to feed a small army! Hello Momma Bear we have been loving melon this summer it is so hot here in Tennessee we are in the high 90's but with the humidity we are over a 100. My garden is giving me some cherry tomatoes, got my first cucumber, picked a gallon and a half of blueberries and 2 gallons of blackberries I have been picking berries like crazy these last 3 days. Praying for all of you the food looks wonderful! Take care and stay safe!

I’ve been using Pyrex rectangular glass containers even for salads. I’ve avoided plastic. I used plastic a lot years ago and now I don’t trust plastic. I use glass for everything now. Food can be stored in the freezer and also baked in the oven. The Pyrex comes in all sizes. The covers are plastic but they don’t touch the food.

I just wish they were bigger I would need 4 9x13s for 1 meal. I wish they had a double wide one although I might try if I can find some low cost ones

I make an enchilda casserole. Layer tortillas, refried beans, hamburger, cheese, enchilada sauce. Then bake. Goid stuff.

They are actually no organic I started peeling because I worry about the apeel coating where they don’t need to label. We used to just eat the skins.

I have never had air con and we get very hot 42 53 54 45 39 degrees celcious I wish I could have air con I just simply can’t afford to buy a unit do I just have suffer in the heat and I don’t do to well that’s why I like winter

If you're dehydrated then your blood sugar will run higher, so maybe that's what is going on when it's hot? I have to make sure to drink more water than I think I need when it's hot.

One of my favorite salads..broccoli. But I leave the sugar out. I learned that the hard way. I tossed a whole bowl of it because nobody liked the sweetness.

Depends on the broccoli homemade broccoli is fine without but store bought it takes the occasional bitterness out.

My husband has a Dexcom. He turns the sound down at night so it won’t wake him. Drives me nuts. I had to call EMS once because his blood sugar was 35. He sleeps and I wait to maybe hear the thing go off

I am shopping weekly now not monthly so yes lots of shopping. But Ive been doing 6 videos a week currently 1 of the 6 is a grocery haul usually. Next week Ill have a dollar Tree back to school type haul.
