Thank you Chad. The transmission is pretty impressive, especially in auto mode clicking up through the gears. Even i didn't comment how you can lug it around like a Harley on flatland or cruising. I've watched some My Team Wax videos...i think they purchased my XT-P...FB made an appearance which was cool.

What a beautiful day at Demon. We were privileged to ride the Hondas maiden voyage! Our experience showed when us ATV guys watched in awe as we witnessed this Talon make very short and effortless work of a full size tree stump and felled tree shown at the beginning of this video. We all stopped ahead of the Talon fully expecting to have to dismount and somehow get that beast past those obstacles. I never left my seat; it was over before we uttered a word to each other about a possible plan. Absolutely fantastic to watch that and with.very little wheelspin and no ramrodding. Steves driving skills worked perfectly with that Talon

Great video, thank you for taking the time to share and post it. I've currently got just over 200mi on my talon X. I've been through a serious trail a few times and it has not let me down or disappointed once. Rescued my friends stuck maverick X3 twice now. I had to show him the talons capabilities after the fact with no difficulty whatsoever. Safe riding to y'all!

Boy I agree with you. My dealer Hamburg Honda has a blue 1000x live valve just like mine in stock maybe you should call them they are very hard to fined. Hamburg Honda is good people it's worth the drive 716-649-7669. You will like the machine ride safe and happy New Year.

Awesome video as always, love the Honda Talon, if I ever where to purchase a SXS I think that’s the one I would buy but for now I’ll keep riding Yamaha ATVS.

Alot of fine machines available... But you can't go wrong with a Talon imo... I've had great luck with my Pioneer and Talon so far.. Great video... 👍👍👍

Great video! I have a Honda Pioneer 1000-3 LE that has the same i4WD system as the talon. I will attest that these are nice machines. The Pioneer is a 72HP version of the Pioneer mill.

Where Did you find that tire size? Do you think it can handle 32"

Steve the owner says, "They are stock tires from a Kawasaki krx1000. I was only able to get them from a Kawasaki Dealer. If it's a talon X, 32" tires might rub slightly. If it's a talon R, they should fit." Steve is a tire expert in my opinion, his truck, atv and sxs all have beautiful large rims and tires. I would proceed carefully going to 32" on a sxs...as i've spent 3 months getting my 32" tires on my defender not to rub and aligned. 32" tires may require modification to your suspension which i had to do with my Defender LMT, i did not have to modify my Defender XMR. Hope this helps stay safe.

The talon is not my machine so i can't answer. My RZT Pro has Carnivores...I'm still contemplating if i like them. They do ride well but the suspension on the RZR Pro is amazing. I haven't heard a bad thing about carnivores. Stay healthy.

My in-laws have a talon. Can’t say that the transmission is my favorite thing to have. Rode it in the black hills late last year and wasn’t crazy impressed with its trans. It does handle nicely and it does have good power. The machine seemed like it didn’t know when to shift in the environment given that day. If you paddle it the whole time then you won’t have that feeing of being in the wrong gear. Very smooth machine otherwise. I would still be happy with a talon if I were to purchase one. Just not there yet with the sport UTV thing. Love wheeling too much to give up the handlebars. If you can’t lift the front then I don’t want to ride it ;)

Awesome comment, most I’ve seen drop the throttle to get over the correct gear issues, all Honda’s seem to have that issue, thank you for commenting 😊

You know that Honda cars are good cars they hold their resale value they are like bullets just like a Honda motor on a generator I looked at that machine but a smaller bottle side-by-side and they were pretty reasonable and they look tough

Pat I bought a new Honda car for my wife 16 years ago and it was at the dealer every 6 months. My Honda Rubicon was a pig 🐖. But you are right they are known for their quality, and this Talon dripped quality, I’ve watched drivers beat the Talon and it never breaks. Very impressive on the trail. I hope you are well 😊

Marauder Mitchelli yes I’m good well now the Hondas are better my son sells Hondas and they are a goddamn good car my lady friend has one but she doesn’t drive many miles she has a civic releases good cars but I don’t like them because I can’t get in and out of them and they are low like a Corvette like I used to have I rather have a Dodge Challenger I had one brand new 2 9 6P I should’ve kept it six speed

I'm still running a 99 civic si. Higher revving engines the rungs will go bad before it blows up. They do make duds sometimes.

I only drove it once...I'm sure it did a little but for most of our and your riding it's probably not a drag race. His machine performs very well with those tires. Stay healthy.

Why wouldn't you be a Japanese guy? I have the talon fox live valve 4 seat wife has the Kawasaki krx you know their good machines when we drive by the "lesser quality built" machines fixing their axles and belts on the side of the trails

They are better quality...I'm not so hot on the looks and performance for me I like the North American brands. I had a Honda ATV Rubicon that was extremely dissapoinint. You have a great machine enjoy it...I almost bought one.
