Should I buy this 100“ tv or the Sony 83“ a90j or the Sony 85“ x95l?
@GramophoneMD Жыл бұрын
Hard to go wrong with either. I adore OLED so that is my preference, but these are all excellent TVs. I'd say meet your need for size first and foremost however. There is also the 97 inch G2 OLED from LG if want it all basically. Size, and the most realistic picture of OLED (in my opinion).

Wow! Between this 💯 inch tv x92j versus 915es projector (with a laser), it’s a hard call! What would YOU get for roughly $20K?
@GramophoneMD3 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind that with the projector you also need a worthy screen therefore incurring additional cost, but you can go much bigger than 100 inches. Personally I prefer high end TVs to projectors but that's my personal preference. I cannot call it objectively "better" especially compared against a Sony laser projector which are absolutely excellent One way or another you must choose your sacrifice.
@SoldierOfSunrise3 жыл бұрын
There is no projector that can produce the black level and native contrast of a good, VA paneled SONY TV. Not to mention the superb motion handling. And now finally none of the "hard core projector fans" can complain about the "small size" of it. :) My choice would be the television in all possible cases.

This vs gtz380 ?
@GramophoneMD3 жыл бұрын
Oh my gosh, GTZ380 no question. That's a one off world class product, an untold tier of performance no one can actually believe let alone understand without seeing. Seeing a GTZ380 is cathartic, it is on the same level of discovery as Copernicus realizing that the solar system is heliocentric instead of geocentric. Except it all happens immediately in just that very first moment of seeing it and at last you have knowledge you never previously believed could even exist, that you couldn't even imagine.

Pretty straightforward question. You have $30k to play with for your screen, and zero room or light limitations. Do you get this or the JVC DLNA NZ9 ($25k) with a $5k non-perf retractable screen? That’s the actual dilemma I’m facing as I’m currently about to make one of these purchases for a brand he home theater. Please offer guidance!
