When it's 1am, I just wanted to get off of your computer to go to sleep, and Let's learn Ukrainian uploads what is probably the most useful video, judging by the title, I think "just one more". Low and behold, it's 1h. And now I'm in this weird state between excitement and eagerness to learn and tiredness.

@@silentpseudolinguist yes! Recognizing the words you already know is sort of positive motivation (to me, at least). Plus, a little revision will do no harm. I just found a couple of channels teaching arabic this way, with lengthy vocabulary videos. I enjoyed them so much and for inspired to do something similar on this channel as well 😁

My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

Okay, so I've had this imaginary friend called Stefa for 7 years now. Sometimes she wants to be in the video. I don't always want her with me in the video. Not in this one, at least. Russian pronounces differently from all slavic languages. For example you see word begans with O but it reads A, or E changes to I, G changes to V. It's all because russians are not actually slavs and russian language is artificial.

Thank you so much for the very useful phrases! It is hard to find reliable translations online. Hearing the words being used by a native speaker makes me feel more confident that I know what I’m saying will be right. Please keep the videos like this coming! My only advice would be to maybe add romanized version of the words with the Ukrainian and English. I am still learning the alphabet and seeing the English sounds for the word really helps me out to break down the sounds of the word and say it back.

Great video, very helpful made a few Ukrainian friends and they said I was the first Irish person they had met that can speak Ukrainian

Good video. Could you please slow it down. Our brains have to process the info. Then we need time to say it right after you say it. Also some other videos show how to say it using English alphabet. This is very helpful to us?

How do you learn to pronounce properly as an English speaking person? Is it like French where you need to practise throat sounds?
@LetsLearnUkrainian3 жыл бұрын
I think the most important thing for an English speaker is to learn how to pronounce the Р sound, to roll that r :)

Pardon my curiosity, but why does "замовлення" in the "masculine" sentence become "замовдення" in the feminine one (8:14)? Just a typo ?
@goansichishig Жыл бұрын
There is no masculine or feminine sentence. Just "замовлення"

I think this is also correct: Я б хотів зробити замовлення.
@LetsLearnUkrainian3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can either say Я хотів би or я б хотів. Both ways are correct!
