Many thanks to Alexa for creating this video. I have found it really useful as just having words to recite is something I can easily do while taking care of something else, (such as cooking or shopping). I have listened to the video in full probably about 30/40 times and I think I know all of the words now. Therefore I am hoping to take on a new list of words. Is there another video with a list of 100 adjectives? A hundred nouns would do just as well. Or preferably both. If yes, please add a link in the reply. I would really appreciate this. Philip.

Same here. 3 weeks in learning French so I assume it will be easier in time. In German, it isn't a problem. For most nouns, you just add "in" at the end of a masc. word to get the fem. equivalent. (Der Lehrer, die Lehrerin, etc. 'teacher') Adjectives stay the same masc. or fem., although German adjectives are NOT so easy. The change form quite a bit (before the or a/an, and in the 4 cases) (Love watching Alexa. She's a great teacher!)

First of all thanks. 🤩 I know that I might not get an answer to this question, but je vais essayer de faire de mon mieux. Do feminine and masculine adjectives for the ones that are written the same, have different pronunciations like word accents? Bcz I noticed for instance 02:31 'difficile and diffi'cile. This is how I gotta read them? Another: 01:59. Many of them are like that.

Well «lorsque» is a «conjonction» and «pourtant» and also «parfois»are what we call « adverbe »
@idylla59727 жыл бұрын
Does "lorsque" mean the same as "quand"?
@noam89297 жыл бұрын
Ściana Yes it's the same but «lorsque» is less used and for some cases you can't use it as «quand». For example «When will you have your 18 years old ? », here you'll be obligated to use quand : « Quand vas-tu avoir tes 18 ans ?». It's hard to explain it but i'm gonna try. You can't use it as an interrogative word but you can use it in a question.«Qui était la fille à qui tu parlais lorsque nous étions en vacances à Paris ?» in english « Who was the girl you were speaking with when you were in holidays at Paris ?» so here you use lorsque in a question but not as an interrogative word beacause the interrogative word is qui (who). Hope you get it :/

Je vous remerci Alexa, The best French teacher ever is you. Your lessons are of high standards of teaching. I am waiting for all your new vids to proceed and elevate my level. Heartfelt thanks for your exerted efforts.
Can you explain where to use adjective in French language? because I observe you use sometimes before the noun you are describing with a certain andjective and sometimes after the noun that you want to descibe. For example: J'ai une veste rouge. (adjective rouge comes after noun veste) j'ai un vieux manteau. (vieux adjective comes before the noun manteau)
@ultraboombean Жыл бұрын
Remember BAGS -beauty, age, goodness and size . Those adjectives you put before noun. Hope that helps. Vieux is an age adjective whereas rouge is color.
