31:03 Albert Imperato gives his favorite white tee, and I agree 100%. I'll take the Kirkland tees that cost about $4 a piece over the $100 tees. No t-shirts fit me well out of the box no matter what they cost, so I get them tailored and if you get them tailored they fit perfect. Kirkland tees are soft, heavy, and have high quality collars. When I say they're heavy, I mean heavy, like half a pound. There are $100 tees that don't even come close. They're hands down my favorite tees regardless of cost. You can fight colors besides white and black if you go in the store as well.
@scsmith46042 жыл бұрын
My issue with the higher-priced white tees is I would likely spill something on it and stain it to the point where I would not wear it anymore. This type of issue happens regularly.

Oxi clean and bleach will get almost any stain out.
@Richard_Lush10 ай бұрын
Yep. It’s weird because I’ve got so many other colours I never stain but once it’s white. It’s like a magnet. So I’ve just stopped buying them. The oxy clean etc works if you catch it early but once it sets it doesn’t work at least for me😢 I’ll try bleach. Thx!

There is something fascinating about watching a guy who obsesses over white t-shirts, trying to pick the best white t-shirts from a pile. Solid video. I learned about so many different brands, but I am loyal to Los Angeles Apparel shirts.

This was fun. I would like to make the recommendation that you machine dry the tees to really see what the measurements are afterwards. I think in a day to day family scenario I'm not pulling items out of the washer to hang dry, it's all going in the dryer lol.

Even if the material is not even anymore. If you're trained well, you can put a bag on, looking good. But was still funny to watch two guys nearly an hour about such a topic. I like your videos

It sounds like that Indigofera seam is a coverstitch, which is very similar to serging but more versatile. Coverstitch machines are usually capable of doing a chain stitch as well. Most T shirts have coverstitched hems just hidden on the inside.

Anyways. love the channel and reviews and this dude is a cool cat. Not gonna lie though for basic black/white tees I go ultra cheap H&M brand as I see tee's as largely disposable. Off the wall question for Albert - Senario/opinion question. Lets say you walk into Carl's mancave and against the far wall you see a record player with a wall full of vinyl records - Jazz, Rock and Roll..you name it. Carl pulls out another bottle of Whiskey (I think thats what it was). What 5 (or maybe 10) albums would you pull out and play?

Going to be a lot of jazz! Anything by Hank Mobley ("Dippin' is my fave), John Coltrane & Johnny Hartman ("Lush Life" is an all-time fave song), anything by Chet Baker ("Chet Baker Sings" is tops), Stan Getz with Joao Gilberto and Getz with Oscar Peterson, Ella Fitzgerald sings Gershwin and the other American songbook collections, Dave Brubeck "Time Out," Miles Davis "Kind of Blue" for starters!
