I will keep going out to the range and my hands are getting a little less shakey. Got love it to do it, shoot while you can, life is tough but I ever backed away from a challenge. Thanks. Thank you for all your effort even when you are dragging butt! 😆 You have no idea how much you are helping average shooters (like me) up their game . As a constructive piece of advice from a KZbin junkie, that target cam is an important part of what you do. It squashes the doubters while making us feel like we are there real time. I understand why you skipped it for sure though. I drag butt every week myself. Keep up the spectacular work Eric! You can't measure smudges to .001''. Prove me wrong or stop the B.S.!!!!

When you are testing for group size, why shoot point of aim to point of impact on a small dot? The first impact to clip the dot removes the consistent point of aim. Thoughts? Seems like introducing a variable.

My "Service Rifle" which was supposed to conform to a M16A2 externally had a truck axle barrel floated beneath the regulation handguards, a two-stage Jewell match trigger, pounds of lead weights, 1/2 MOA sights, hooded with yellow diopter insert. The Army's AMU pioneered all this stuff and the shooting community got Sierra to make the 77 grain match so we could shoot 'Rattle Battle.'

I've been handloading since I was a very young lad....pre teen. Due to lack of money and my discovery of females back then, reloading was a side thing. Erik, thanks for the effort you put into this. In this video you were validating your load, +/- .3 grains. If you encounter a significant difference in temperature from what you did your load development at, do you move to the higher end of your node for cold days and vice versa for hot days? Are some of the powders less affected by the temperature as they advertise? Do you choose these preferentially?

I just get blown away from all the “NEGATIVE” comments, the world is full of TOP GUNS, best shooters known to man, always have some comment about you are doing this wrong. I always welcome another’s advice, I do shoot bench, cannot express how much fun this is, but when another competitor offers their input, maybe how to, I always listen with an open ear, I may NOT AGREE but I listen. Man told me to slow my .308 down, said “you see anyone come running down here asking for your load data, saying Damn, Ive never seen anyone miss a bullseye that fast, I gotta have that load data” Like Erik, he was the Range Pro, shot in the Nationals for years, had a stroke, FUBAR’d that passion, but when the man spoke, I always took his advice to heart. Don’t bash someone just because they don’t cook the way you do, remember, this Man is a champion, you, well, you’re most likely not. “ Ill catch hell for that statement, but, its true. Listen, he’s only sharing his knowledge.
