My neighbor, a retired police officer and Vietnam veteran, always carries a few band aids in his pocket. He's still a powerhouse in his early eighties and always says he needs the bandages, because he has "old people skin". He's a really funny guy! 😂 Merry Christmas from Narrowsburg!

Maybe alternate backfill materials when getting close to the end so that you can build up the soil thicker in the landscaping bed and lawn. George is going to have fun digging out all that crush to get things to grow in that area. Other than that, another fine job by TME.

I am amazed at the professionalism and the quality Your service provides. I have a 1000 gallon buried tank on my property, and I'm terrified of someone telling me I have to remove it someday. Do most homeowner insurance policies cover something like this ? Ps love your videos.

It's always great to watch you work. Brian operates the excavator with precision. I know out on the east coast there is more use of fuel oil than natural gas (here in the Midwest where I live) so for you that's good for business. Watching how you work to pull old underground tanks from customer's homes make me ask is it no longer allowed to install underground tanks in residential sites? I would think it's best not to use an underground tank due to the spillage I've seen when you've dug them out. Stay safe and healthy Tank Master's and hope your 2025 is a prosperous year.

The restoration of that work site was excellent. One would never know that a major excavation accompanied by heavy trucks and machinery had been there. Your effort to keep the cost of this remediation low is probably very appreciated by the homeowner.

Merry Christmas Brian and the crew! I have a question? When you take a scoop of dirt and empty it and then go back for another scoop you always push dirt off the top before you get another scoop. Why is that?

Good morning and Merry Christmas to Tank Masters environmental crew I have a question where does all that contaminated dirt go and does it get recycled what I mean does it get clean up and recycled into new dirt or something else
@rupe539 күн бұрын
Yes, the dirt gets trucked off to a place (NJ?) and is cleaned to point where it's considered inert fill. Not sure which process they use there but the ones I know about are similar to a cement kiln where it's heated and fluffed up with air to burn off any oil / fuel. The end product is dry, sterile, and suitable for many construction needs. There are no organic compounds left so not good for growing anything. More likely as filler for road paving and similar.
