but is there going to be enough fuel to submerge the pump when its 1/4 a tank and ripping on it down the track?

I’d say so. The pump sits as low in the tank as a modern car does. If this was going to be a track car, I’m sure I’d have to run a baffled tank and make many other changes tbh.
