How much money did it take to restore it because my neighbor has a 1995 rx-7 that’s been sitting for a hot minute. Not sure if it even runs but it would be a fun experience rebuilding it

Your keen alright mate maybe check out Riggs vintage Mazda mite be able to get a better body off them swap every thing over that's a lot of rust

Thanks! I do know about Riggs, although I'm trying to hone my metalworking skills to save this one :p have a list of smaller items I need to ask him about. hoping it's going to be a solid frame after a few more months of work

Buy a fully restored 98 fd for its floorpan. Sorry that is what the usual comment wiseguy would say. Sadly (or not?) it's not a Chevelle or Chevy truck and floor pans are probably going to be a mock and fab ordeal. Get some real thick metal for lower center of gravity. 😋
