1000HP AWD 4G63 COLT?! - TRC Colt Project

We're excited to introduce yet another TRC project! TRC's official Instagram-ologist Dan (aka "The Beard Man") and his AWD Colt. This is one BADASS machine that will make over 1000AWHP, weigh in at 2200lbs, and put it to the ground through a PPG Dogbox! I had a 92 Dodge Colt hatch that I swapped a 6 bolt 4g63t into back in the late 2000s and it was alot of fun. I had a Mitsubishi Frankenstein 19c turbo, 660 cc injectors, 3" exhaust, Evo 8 pistons, 1st Gen rods, Evo 3 cams, and some other light mods and that car was stupid fast. It made just over 400 whp, but I wasn't able to do the AWD swap and even with a LSD it would just spin both fronts through 4th gear. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

i like how big the radiator is, at peak power this engine will produce at least 2000hp of waste thermal energie in heat and the radiotor is like a little bigger than those two standart radiotors on a 1000cc bikes and it doenst even has a fan .... i mean dont get me wrong, its an amazing project and really cool, so badass, but im pretty sure, if you hammer it to hard it will get "some" thermal issues

we built one in 98 with dodge caravan motor and awd,was fun,but broke all the time,i was laughing at my friend for his engine choice since the 4g63 would have been better to keep weight distribution optimal,was nose heavy but managable
