My laptop CPU is i3-1005G1. When I move a 1000hz mouse, the CPU usage goes from 10% to 48%. In comparison, if the return rate is reduced to 250hz, the CPU usage will not exceed 30%. That's a huge difference.

Well.. it depends. When I play warzone (or any other fast paced fps) my aim feels a bit smoother, a bit more precise. In any other type of game... no. Or maybe this is just a "the placebo effect" 😁👍

USB works with polling rate 1000Hz, anything above that requires some tricks that will cause performance penalty. There is no difference between 125, 500 and 1000, because they are in range of USB standard polling rate.

@@Demon_Nuke i mam on cpu usage. And there shouldn't be a noticeable difference when you have twice that much frequency than your display have refresh frequency
