the slower bridge has a double, yis. i didn't notice single player also has pterodactyls around and the volcano in the background visible from the starting line. Bowser statue's fireballs always seem more detailed one simple trick you can do is laying traps on the tip of ramps, so they just fall down, cpus are stupid here lol. pushing is also wild here, you can clip through people, yank sideways if you graze the corner of their cars with a shroom, star from behind can yeet very far, and more, it's pretty... inconsitent; shrunk chars will get clipped through by big ones, but shrunk ones can use shrooms to steal items regardless... without pushing them at all. lightning is as you said, MK64 had it so you could get flattened and lost a huge amount of time (two shrunk chars would crush each other, for some reason lol), i think mkwii finally made it more of an equalizer. remember cpu finishing times are estimated, they are waaay inflated on bowser castle. cpus do drift and build MTs, likely more at higher ccs, i guess. the rocky section of DK mountain and RR seem to make reds (and yosh eggs) awful, just don't go straight and you can avoid them, idk why. stars don't make you go at full speed when shrunk btw, they scale properly, unlike shrooms. a remade MKDD RR should not keep the ground stars btw, they are broken as 1st gets dibs, even if i love them.
