Like the great couturiers, the great chefs have to rival each other in creativity. With each new menu, they are judged, graded, praised or mocked. Capa's cameras take us backstage at La Côte d'Or, Bernard LOISEAU's restaurant in Saulieu. His cuisine had been in his head ever since he approached his first stove as an apprentice. When he bought La Côte d'Or in 1975, it was already with the idea of making it one of the best restaurants in France. In 1991, he joined the exclusive three-star club... A fragile reputation which, like all the world's great chefs, he challenged every evening.
