First off, are you sure we "deserve" good games journalism? Because everywhere I look, things just keep getting worse and worse and I see people doing f*** all about it. They keep doing clickbait, rushing to publish, even manipulate the facts and lie, plus all the other crap because it works. If it wasn't profitable for them they wouldn't do it. Second, doing a news channel, or maybe simply starting a news segment, is a good idea. I know I trust many people here much more than a lot of media outlets these days. And lastly, I'm so tired at this point... Sony basically killed the Aspyr remake and now they're pulling out? And what does Disney think about all of this, do they even care? Unfortunately this isn’t just a games journalism problem, it’s a problem with journalism period! How many times have we seen journalists of any kind report something from a “Leaker” as a 100% fact, only for it to be refuted in hours or days, only for the journalists to A) act like they never reported it, or B) get pissy about being called out for it and try to justify their behavior.

You see this is what infuriates me these days. With some of these “gaming journalists” it isn’t about getting to the truth(or the positives) it’s about just negativity and rage to get cheap views. I like Kotor 2 more than Kotor 1. Its just more and with the restored content mod and all the HD textures and cinematics its a really good game to play still after all those years. I only recommend having a 60 hz monitor, cause getting stuck is annoying. In my experience u can walk at the last enemy and the last hit forward and not get stuck, but with some enemys this doesnt work. I dont understand how people can call Kotor 2 uncomplete. Its perfect

KOTOR communities are going to be needing target-specific professional psycho-emotional help if this continues. If the games are made, we will be thrilled. I’m just happy to have you report on this remake optimistically yet realistically. And I really hope for an outcome where this game one day gets its gameplay revealed and its fully alive and well. And you can go from these type of frustrating videos to just being hyped about new gameplay news like the FF7 fans and channels get to be. What did I say? The guy made a big claim, based on an assumption, and misspoke. Investors depend on these corporate financial reports to be truthful and accurate. You don’t say that you still have a project on the burner when you do not. There are definitely days where it feels like being a Star Wars fan is like being in an abusive relationship. "Maybe THIS time they'll release the KOTOR Remake, I just know Star Wars can change for the better." I think all of us would like it if Disney just let the studio actually give us a proper progress update so we could actually see what's going on so every time a "leaker" comes out to get easy views saying it's dead then they just get ignored. Regardless of whether the leaker was legitimate or not, there’s no getting around the fact that the original trailer is all we have after 2 years is inexcusable. If you weren’t going to release any teasers or clips, within 6 to 12 months from the release of the trailer, why even release it? Because at that point you’re teasing your fanbase and given them next to nothing. At the end of the day, it’s a REMAKE! The map is already drawn, the blueprint is prepared for you. Aiight, this is my thought, they're selling mapping and other framework type aspects of the game to other developers for ALL the other SW games being worked on because its been BEAUTIFULLY done most likely. My friend again forgive me for being such a pessimist but it's been over 2 years since they announced the KOTOR remake and nothing has come of it. It would have been great if the remake had happened this year for the game's 20th anniversary but of course that didn't happen. Also not to mention what KOTOR 2 players on Nintendo Switch went through with the canceled DLC for the game back in June...the lawsuit they filed against Aspry probably won't amount to anything. My friend my opinion is to just give up riding this dead horse and enjoy what you've experienced from playing KOTOR 1 and making videos and content about the lore of the game

Sometimes I think they should just do a good remaster or just update it immensely like KOTOR 2 so we can be sure it´ll run with Windows 11 and 12 and whatever Windows there will be in the future. 😆
