Sup, I'm the guy that told Matt about the Promethium thing being 140,000x times more potent than gasoline. You see, in the Caiphus Cain Novel "Caves of Ice", he's gotta blow up a bunch of Necrons. So he drowns them in 8,000,000 Liters of Promethium before blowing it up. A techpriest - or some other technophile dude - says that the explosive force was in the range giga-tonnes. Plural. A few fun facts: -Salamanders only have coal black skin and glowing red eyes because of a gene mutation. It's an extreme reaction to the rare minerals within Nocturne itself. -Tau only live 40-50 years but because of his sword, Farsight has lived over 3 centuries. He vanished for most of those years and only returned to save Vior'los and the Enclave Worlds from Tyranid invasion. He had to recover his battlesuit from the Farsight Museum. -The 9th Legion were thought to be so unstable that Malcador himself named them the Revenant Legion (because of their brutality, blood-lust and tendency to eat dead friends and foes). They were eventually sanctioned by Dorn and broken into small warbands, only to be drawn back as a single legion when they were united with Sanguinius. -Grey Knights have their original names psychically removed from their memories upon recruitment (so their true names remain unknown). The names they receive upon elevation to the brotherhood are all drawn from the true names of daemons. -The Ultramarines are the 13th Legion. The Legio 13th Gemina was one of Caesar's legions and the one with whom he crossed the Rubicon, starting the civil war, and ultimately overthrowing the Roman Republic. - Eldar ghost weapons can only be wielded by wraith constructs as they contain spirit stones from the Crone Worlds occupied by spirits too malicious to enter the Infinity Circuit. Their will is powerful enough to overcome and consume the spirits of the living, claiming their body for their own.

The "imperial knights were originally farming equipment" is a weird meme since it's commonly parroted yet not at all backed up by lore. Knight suits were always meant as a defense system for colonists in the dark age of technology, and the pilots for the knight suits were specially selected due to the mind altering effects of the throne mechanicum. The closest thing I can find that even remotely mentions this is a throwaway line on the imperial knight 1d4chan article, which is not at all a valid source, and even then still refers to it as a case of military equipment being repurposed for farming/construction and not the other way around. The misconception has spread to other 40k vehicles, like the leman russ, which people say was originally a tractor, despite a lack of any source, and it seems to originate from the rhino, which in the DaoT was classed as an exploration and defense vehicle, so even then it's not really different from it's current role as an APC.

Leman Russ looks like older ww1 tanks which were designed from tractors so maybe that’s where it started?

yeah i saw this spouted on this channel afew times. it litrally says in their own lore that these worlds survived because these knights protected them. they were sent as soldiers in the golden age. they were ssentially golden age armies that due to no support or knowledge became as rare as it is today.

Fact #1: The ork klan of Bad Moonz are the richest group of orks to exist within ork society because their teeth regrow the fastest 2# Orks believe that certain colors improve in specific performance, - Red goes faster, Yellow is the most explosive, Purple is the sneakiest color, Blue is lucky. 3# Ork technology works because they Believe it to be so, confusing the hell out of the Admech 4# Orks are practically immortal by design, growing in size & darker in skintone the more they fight 5# Orks don't have genitals, they reproduce through shedding fungus in the air, hence why fire is one of the better ork deterrents.

The best part about 40k lore is that it's all based on accounts by unreliable narrators, to the point where GW purposefully includes contradictory lore even within the same book. It cements the theme that nobody can be trusted as well as give writers and fans a lot more creative freedom and less strict rules to follow.
